We met up with our guide Bonnel at about 6:45 AM at the Maria and from there we were off. We hit some flats for permit but couldn't seem connect. After a while went to the tarpon grounds where we had some fun messing with them but just couldn't make it happen. We wanted to catch some fish so we changed gears, caught some bait fish and headed to the reefs. Once we started we had a fish on just about every minute for the rest of the day. We scored a few nice tuna, Amber jack, mackerels, mutton snapper, and a bunch of other fish. Bonnel took good care of us all day and even showed us how to fish with hand lines something I recommend you try!
