If you are on the coast of Belize and have 8 hours to spare you will not be disappointed. Go with a local in a small crew and you wont be disappointed.

Took an hour boat ride from Hopkins to Glover's Reef with Belize Underwater. Healthy coral and lots of fauna. Unfortunately, lionfish are present even at this remote location, but it's a great opportunity to take up spearfishing to help eradicate the invasive species and bring home dinner.

We did 3 dives (single day) at Glovers Reef with Hamanasi Divers. The reefs are spectacularly beautiful with abundant sea life. All our dives were at a maximum depth of around 60 to 70 feet and were very relaxed. We are experienced divers having dived around the world and rate this as one of our favourite dive sites. If you... More

Glovers Reed is a beautiful natural wonder of the world! We saw many different fish, coral and wildlife. If you are not booking with the hotel for your excursion please research the type of boat you will be riding in. It is a long ride out to Glover's and being wet the entire time is NOT fun. We booked with... More

This reef offers some of the best diving I've experienced. Given the plight of coral worldwide, this reef is healthy and supports a wide array of fish. It was teeming with lobsters, the largest groupers that I've ever seen, along with nurse sharks and sea turtles. I can't recommend it enough.

went to the reef with 3 friends. I dove, they snorkeled. it was a 3 tank dive. The diving was great. Water was 83F and very clear. Good sea life. Lionfish, Sharks, eels, flounder, rays....snorkelers had just as good a time. They just didn't go as deep. Everyone was happy with the reef.

We went snorkeling and had a blast. The marine life was fantastic. Our guide pointed out all the different kinds of fish and coral. I heard the diving is excellent. Something for next trip!

I'm sure the inner cayes are beautiful for diving too but Glover's was amazing! No tourist boats, quiet, serene natural beauty. We did this in a day trip but I'm sure it's even better if you can dive for days out here. Healthy reef, tons and tons of marine life. Totally worth the effort (and cost) to get here rain... More

It was an interesting ride out in our small boat. Several islands. One research reserve. Completely healthy reef. Unlimited potential to see things. We were the only boat on the entire reef. So quiet and untouched by tourism and people. We spent several hours. Going caye to caye. No way to see the whole place.we were under water for 4... More
