Glover's reef is spread over a wide area and there are many coral "islands" here and there. We used a boat to visit several and also swam just offshore. There was a tremendous variety of life. I particularly enjoyed floating over the jellyfish beds where...More

I had seen mentions of Glover’s Reef. The mentions of dolphins caught my eye. It is not easy to get there. It takes a minimum number of divers. It was a 2 hour boat ride from Placencia. We went out with our favorite dive master...More

I have been to many world class snorkeling and scuba diving locations around the world (Hawaii, Grand Caymans, Cancun/Cozumel) and Glover's and the surrounding reefs/cays were a cut above. We used Happy Go Luckie tours as folks in our group has used them before and...More

Boat ride out to the reef was bumpy. I stayed behind due to a back issue but the rest of the family loved it.

Our group snorkeled here for half a day, seeing sting rays, sharks, eels, sea turtles, and barracudas, as well as a wide variety of coral and smaller fish. The size of the reef, and its status as a preserve, separate it from other snorkeling experiences...More

You should definitely dive here! We saw sharks, turtles, rays, crab, lobster, millions of fish, etc. etc.

Well worth the 2+ hour boat ride! It was like having an enormous, private reef to explore for the day. For snorkeling, I recommend Happy Go Luckie tours out of Silk Grass (Hopkins). Lunch on Northeast Caye was an excellent break as well.

Beautiful Reef and great visibility. Nice option if you have beginner and experienced divers in your group because everyone will enjoy what they see. Nicely priced dives and not a super long boat ride either, which is great for those of us that like to...More

I would wait to book until you get there. There usually different boats going out on regular basis. If you are at a resort they can help you otherwise there a couple of dive shops in the area.
