Xunantunich and Cave Tubing with Jimmy!

My family spent the day with Jimmy and had a wonderful time exploring the Mayan ruins and serene waters of the cave! Jimmy expertly guided us through the country side, showing us interesting land marks and educating us about his country. His tour of the ruins was excellent and he made sure we were in the exact right spots to avoid crowds and to see the best views from the ruins. He is an expert photographer as well! :) He took us to a perfect, local lunch spot where we enjoyed home cooked meal. And then we went off to cave tube. He guided us through the caves and the water and we had a lovely time! We highly recommend this tour as well as the Monkey River tour (which we also took). So interesting and fun!

Enjoying my tour in Belize

I arranged my tour to Belize with “Untame Belize Tours” travel agent and I was very satisfied with their professional service. The communication was very smooth with Ms. Rose (through WhatsApp) and she was so helpful in accommodating all the requested details with quick feedback and follow-up actions. The airport pick-up and the city tour was made with Mr. Jimmy who was extra mile helpful and passionate to facilitate our troubles in the arrival day as he waited us for long time at the airport until we resolved our problem, and then he made every possible effort to catch up with our planned tour in the same day and he generously bought for us Ceviche lunch as a kind welcome treat from his side. Thanks for the great service and we really enjoyed every moment in this tour.

Amazing customer service!

We used Untame Belize for a private shuttle from BZE to Placencia, ATV tour with waterfall swim, and boat trip with stop for snorkel. All the guides we had were so friendly and made the trip very enjoyable. We felt very covid safe as most of the activities were outdoors. The group was very well organized and responsive, we booked the snorkel trip the day before we went!

Unforgettable!!

Used Untame Belize for ATM Cave tour AND Tikal Day tour, they rocked it in every way... from Hamerlin thru email and phone helping me set up even last minute tours the night before and being so diligent with email replies, my guides (shoutout to Eric with ATM and Reyes with Tikal) and drivers (shoutout to John and Edgar). The tours themselves are amazing, caving in ATM caves feels like being an explorer and just such a freakin experience, Tikal with so much history and the added bonus of spotting monkeys and toucan!) Literally couldn't have asked for anything better. You guys were all the best :)

Cockscomb Basin Hiking Tour

We did a hike of the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary with our guide Ricky and had a great experience. He’s local and extremely knowledgable about local wildlife, fauna, and history. We had pleasant conversations the entire way and also shared an amazing lunch together. Would definitely recommend this hike for someone wanting to just get to know the area better and check out the beautiful sanctuary.

Xunantunich Mayan Ruins and Cave tubing Day Trip

I am from North Carolina, USA and went on this day trip with my aunt and uncle from Canada. Edgar our tour guide made our trip from fun to an absolute blast. He is a overall great person with a fun and great personality. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Mayan ruins/history and answered all of our questions with pleasure and enthusiasm. The Mayan ruins were breathtaking and the cave tubing was beautiful. I would rate the trip a 10 out of 10 and recommend to seek Edgar if you want to have an amazing time and have memories that you will remember for years to come.

Fantastic tour guide company

I had signed up to go to Davis Falls, but due to unprecedented heavy rains, the river was impassable. Untame Belize offered me a refund or a choice to see Mayan King waterfall. I chose the latter and enjoyed it very much. Jimmy, the tour guide, was superb. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything there is to know about Belize (politics, nature, economy, geology) and he was so personable. I plan to return soon and will definitely go on their tours again.

Great experience overall!

We had multiple large groups of high school students and adults visiting Belize this summer and used UnTame for all of our shuttles. I found them to be very easy to communicate with during the booking process, and they were always on-time with the pick-up. The students really loved the drivers and their passion for sharing facts about Belize during the drive. They also helped book some very last minute shuttles to help us out in a pinch! I was very happy with our UnTame experience and will definitely be using them again in the future, as well as recommending them to others!

Mayan Ruins and Cave Tubing

Our guide Edgar picked us up at the place we were staying on Maya Beach and we drove for about 3 hours to see the Mayan ruins and then go cave tubing. Edgar chatted with us the whole way about Belize and his work as an archeologist on Mayan ruins. He made the excursion so much more worthwhile. The ruins were fascinating. We took a barge across a river, walked up a small footpath and then entered an expanse of ancient structures. It felt like going back in time. Edgar had done digs in many areas of the site and had interesting anecdotes. The cave tubing was equally enjoyable. We took footpaths to our destination and waded through a river in three places until we reached the mouth of a massive cave system. The tubing was surrealistic. Edgar also took us for a great lunch at a popular patio (Benny’s)
in a small village where we crossed the river on the barge. It was off the beaten track yet packed with people. You wouldn’t have found the place in a million years unless you had someone like Edgar managing the day. He was the best and the tour is not to be missed!

“UnBELIZEable, Belize me!!!”

Hamerlin was so accommodating on such short notice. We connected through email and he made our Jungle ATV tour and waterfall swim so memorable. Edgar was our tour guide and was unBELIZEable!! So much knowledge! We have been all over the world and he was by far the most entertaining, fun and definitely a jack of all trades with a huge sense of humor. He gave us biology, history and culture lessons pertaining to Belize.
