We loved the trip to the tea plantation. You are offered free cups of tea at many tea houses located throughout the property. There was plenty of scenic overlooks and beautiful tea tree flowers.

Built for tourists with very little natural sights. Better to visit in the spring when flowers bloom.

We went to Yanming Lake, which is part of the bigger Yanming Park, which consists of the Tea Field as well. We were told that the circumference of the entire park is approximately 45 km! A buggy took us on a trip to a smaller section of the lake, and we made pit stops to check out the pomelo farms and "yang mei" (a type of berry) trees, as well as for photography opportunities.

There's an acrobatic (and magic) performance daily at 10:00 am. Meals are also served in the restaurant, but we didn't stay for lunch.

If you have a day to spare, don't hesitate to spend it here. Clean air, great views, nice and friendly staff. Definitely a nice way to spend at least the morning here!

Went on low season, very peaceful. Besides tea plantation, they have bamboo garden. Feels like in Japan one, as the play soft peaceful music along. Took the cart up and walked down, an easy walk down.

In my opinion, this is ideal for taking beautiful photos. The picturesque flower fields and colourful trees makes a beautiful background. Further going inside, we could feel the freshness of the air more and more. Some parts of the gardens are covered with nice fragrance of the flowers. Nice place to spend a half or a full day with family. Nothing much to do, but can relax.
There are tea restaurants where you can buy snacks and enjoy tea (in some places tea is offered free of charge). We drove the car from place to place but there are walking paths and steps to go from one place to another.

There was number of small ponds and lakes. And also a huge swimming pool not sure whether it is open for visitors though.

Ticket price : 80 RMB per person.
There is another park (RMB 50) close by and there are combined tickets as well.

You can take the Bus No.17 to get there.

All in all a beautiful place with fresh air, water, flowers and trees.

Yan Nan Fei is the famous hakka tea plantation in Mei Xian, China. The Dan Song tea leaf and the local green tea leaf are the famous local tea here, must try it.

The restaurant here are mostly serving the mouth watering hakka cuisine, and the best for me is their local rice wine..

We were invited to dinner at the restaurant so decided to go early to enjoy the beauty surrounding the restaurant. What a surreal beauty... and very peaceful. We sat and had some tea and snacks and sample some very delicious teas. Dinner was wonderful as well.
The only drawback is the drive... it’s rather difficult to find....
