Nice stroll
May 2020
It is a spacious park with a lake and small island in the middle. There is also a castle in there. You can walk to the island on a nice bridge. Nice walking place!
It is close to Budapest and definitely worth visiting.

Not much to see
Jul 2019 • Friends
Beethoven museum is very small, three small rooms. Agricultural museum is modern, good for youngs.
Staff is very helpful.
Park is very nice.
You cannot see inside the castle.
The only good reason to go there to relax in the park and have a picnic there.

A rip-off for basically nothing
Jul 2018 • Friends
I went to the park with a friend only to discover at the entrance that there is actually an entrance fee (750 HUF) to walk in the garden/park. The fee does NOT allow you entrance in the castle or the museum! Although the surroundings are beautiful there is nothing inside apart from the trees and the little island in the middle of the lake. I would say it's an ideal place to have a picnic at but the fact that there's an entrance fee put me off a great deal.
Also, at the time of my visit half of the park was being renovated and, therefore, out of bounds. Still, they didn't give any discount from the entrance fee.
Go there only if you really have nothing better to do...

Worth your time
Sep 2017 • Couples
Although the catle was closed, we walked the park. Castle is beautiful from outside well kept. Park aroung is huge, lake is huge. We walked to the island where a large cedar tree is, forgot how old, but old old. The peacefullness of the park is something else. If you lucky there is market across the street to visit.

Amazing park
Jun 2017 • Family
It is an amazing park 30 kms from Budapest. Note that there is only one toilette at the entrance. The park is very nice, amazing trees and an island. Nice walk and calmness for few hours. Even with kids can be great.

Small museum but very nice park
Sep 2016 • Couples
The museum is very small; but if you like beethoven, it is in a house where he spent some pleasurable time. The park is lovely. We like the island in the middle of the lake.

High price, no service
It is in a very nice park, or botanical garden, but for the entrance fee (2500huf for 2) you get no service. No car parking allowed inside, no signs for tree names, no opening of the museum from 12 to 14 pm !!! (2 hours lunch brake every day) , no Cafeteria, no tidiness and no infrastructure (e.g well equiped toilet). So it wasnt worth the price, owner should develop something for it at least!
