Slightly surreal setting of a wooden barn next to a modern fake castle on the outskirts of Prague not far from the Vaclav Havel airport this attraction will not fail to satisfy the retro gamer looking for a few hours to kill. 145 machines from pong to dance dance revolution. A few MAME machines but mostly the real thing delivered in a 'as much as you can play' format for a bargain 200Kr for adults and 130Kr for kids up to 15. There's even a discount if you arrive in the 2 hours before closing. We got their early and had the place to ourselves and the guy turned on the machines for us in banks starting with the earliest stuff moving through the to the latest. 4 hours later, my eyes were blurry, my arm ached and I had a huge grin on my face. It was fantastic to play a load of games to completion that I could never afford as a kid and revisiting some old friends like Galaxian and After Burner. Highlights included playing House of Dead in two player mode with a gun in each hand! Zombie bliss! Check the times as they close for special events.

We took our 9 year old, who saw a gaming arcade in Ireland and spent like 20 Euro in 30 minutes and that was that. Here, he had a blast, he could stick to the games he enjoyed and improve. Best are the old classics, more like from mine and my husbands past :) A great idea and a great trip in time. While at a very reasonable price and in nice environment.

This is a huge arcade gaming room. You pay 200CZK per adult (8€, 9$) and then you can play on about 160 arcade machines for free.
The selection is huge, some early 80s games, 3 pinballs, dance simulator, some shooting games, 90s 16bit & 32bit systems. I think it shows pretty much everything from the history of the arcades, and most of the machines are refurbished and look like new.
I took the kids which are 'modern gamers' to see the games they have only chance to see in retro-collections or emulators and they really enjoyed the place.
The location is a little bit remote and the setting in a wooden barn-like building is in funny contrast with the 'high tech' machines ;-) Opening times are weekends only, as this is an enthusiast driven project.
I highly recommend the visit for any of gamer geeks who want to reminisce/see the old times of gaming, concentrated in one well equipped place.

Very big Arcade, full of classic arcade and video games. Very fun for any gamers, nostalgic people missing the 80s, and kids. The place is huge, 2 stories, and more then 150 games. we spend there 5 hours, and we didn't even play all the games! We and a great time and would recommend this place to everyone.
It's open mostly on weekends, make sure to check the opening hours on the website.
The location is close to Prague, but the village is off the main roads... If you go by car, it's only 30 minutes from Prague city, and 15 minutes from Prague Airport. Perfect for before\after flight activity.
If you go by public transportation- It's about 1 hour from city center. From the Metro station (Zličín) there's a bus (307) but it leaves every 2-3 hours, so be sure to plan your stay according to the bus schedule.

We visited the castle Cerveny Ujezd for kids activity day. The Arcadehry shares the spacious parking lot. During our visit it was fairly busy, however it did not stop anyone to enjoy the games on offer. There are two floors packed up to the roof with any kind of arcade machine you can imagine. My wife didn't look so keen and our eight year old daughter was unsure. However in no time we all run around from machine to machine and calling the others to look at what we found. I loved the flippers and wish there was more than 2 of them available. But we had fun on many others playing together various shooters, fighting games etc. The time just flies and before we knew it we spent over 3 hours there. All consoles have instructions in English, are well maintained and in perfect working order. You can buy some light refreshment there too. We will certainly be back for more action.

Neon Lights, joy sticks and endless nostalgia. This is one of the best things to do in the Prague area. Sure, it is a short metro and bus ride to get there, but oh is it worth it! Everything from Pong and Space Invaders RIGHT through to some of the best first person shooters, e.g. Time Crisis.

Not only this, but you can have a beer and enjoy the time warp. A totally wonderful experience and one I will certainly go back and back and back and back for!

A little bit out of Prague, this place is great for a daily trip with friends and family. A huge selection of games, from oldest ones to the ones played with an equipment (motorcycle, guns etc.), guaranteed to have fun. The village it's located is beautiful as well, with a small historical castle.
