Stayed at a nearby hostal and they organized a night time boat ride/trip of the mangrove.
Picture this, complete darkness, complete silence other than the boat captain slowly paddling at the rear, watching the water give off its iridescence in complete darkness, then a stop on the hut in the mangrove water to connect with the nature and water. Life does not get any better than this.

Great place to be really into the nature! Native people is so kind. Their are proud about the "cienaga" and ready to make you fall in love! Try not to book tours in advance. Go by yourself to the bridge "puente" and find a family to take you into the Caimanera. It is cheaper and the contact with Natives is adorable! Plus, you are paying local families, not turism companies!

Last weekend I visited this beautiful and charming place. If you travel to Coveñas I recommend you to go there. Is very cheap, just USD 10 the journey.

In this mangrove you can see lots of different species who live there. The trees there are also amazing.

Let us know how to arrange.

15000 por persona. Dura 1 hora con opción de ingreso al acuario, allí hay algunas especies nativas: tortugas y un caimán. 😉
