Tropical island paradise

Tropical island paradise. Beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, lush nature. Saw dolphins, little fishes and big turtles. Pricey to visit but well worth it.

I had a wonderful travel with my BF. Fernando de Noronha is a great place to visit. Just take care... You need to spend much money to be there.

The "Park" is actually a collection of beaches that a pass is required. For Non Brasilians the cost is 180R or approx. $60US per 10 days. This is on top of an environmental tax you pay at the airport upon arriving. This cost was $110/per person for 7 days. Cost on the island for food, etc. is high however you... More

The island is easier to get around by buggy rather than bus or foot. We hired a buggy for a day and then used the bus for other days. When we were there it rained for 5 out of 6 days so check the weather before you book. It's a beautiful island; the beaches are left as beaches - but... More

Firstly let me tell you Fernando is beautiful. We wanted to end our 3 week honeymoon trip in Argentina/Brazil with a few days on a beach and were recommended here. It really is lovely. Im sure you will see many many review on here that tell you such and I would agree with all of them. However, I do have... More

Going to the seaside has always been a problem for a single man like me but in Fernando de Noronha it was completely different. There beaches are very large and you meet few people so you aren't forced to sit between seemingly loving couples looking at me (poor thing all alone) with false pity or suspect. The inhabitants are very... More

I have set the world record for scuba diving in the most countries (140 to date) and was disappointed by the diving here. Viz was not great. I dove with Atlantis which had great boats but the guides needed a vacation (surly) and they only allowed 30 minutes between dives so it was very rushed. We enjoyed the experience so... More

Having dived around the world, the visibility and abundance of aquatic life here was stunning. My first encounter with lemon, reef and nurse sharks was here and the underwater scenery is stunning. Definitely take the opportunity to dive here .. you will not be disappointed.

This is a review of the water attractions offered on the island in general. The turtle sanctuary at Sueste Beach was pretty awesome. I ended up seeing maybe 30 turtles, a sting ray, lots of fish and a reef shark. Which was a lot for 1 hour of snorkeling. The diving excursions however left a void for most people I... More
