Nice beach to pay a visit, but not to spend all day there, it's small. You can visit there walking from Cacimba do Padre beach.

We visited the site 5 times during our 7 day visit. There was an ocean surge for many of these days so the Dolphins did not show up. On one day all was Ok in the ocean and they showed up. 270+. What a site to behold. A must see. Local personnel that study the Dolphins were very informative.

let me state that the Island of Noronha Is a nature-lover's and beach lover's paradise and although expensive, is a lifetime experience. our expeirnece with Baia dos Golfinhos was not as wished. we went TWICE to try to see the famous dolphin passage, and this (supposedely) happens every morning at around 7 am. so, first time we went (latish), at... This hill is so high up that seeing any dolphins isn't an amazing experience. We saw only 1 pod of dolphins and only the people with binoculars could see them, if they could find them. There is a large tree blocking a lot of the right areas so when everyone is looking out where the dolphins would be many people... More

We were there at 7:15 AM for an hour and there were no dolphins. (They told us the place opened at 7 AM and you do usually need the card proving you paid the Marine Park fee, although that early in the morning they let us in through an entrance whee we could bypass this checking.) There are TAMAR guides... More

Although you can't see much from the top of the hill, it is certainly worth the visit. If you go without a guide, take your own binocles. Hundreds of dolphins will certainly entartain you for at least 45 minutes.

I arrived around 6:15am, stayed for 2 hours and saw maybe 1-2 dolphins. Sad! Maybe they just weren't hungry that day! I did however get lots of little gnat bites while waiting for the dolphins. I was bummed.

There is a short walk (less than 1 km) on a boardwalk to the viewpoint. The view is spectacular and there were lots of spinner dolphins (we went in the morning, but not terribly early, got there about 8.30). Bring binoculars! We also saw a turtle and two teju lizards, several birds, both flying tropicbirds, nesting terns and the Noronha... More
