Good place to visit with several stores and restaurants. From a caffe to a good steak restaurant, your nights will be fully of activities with you and tou family. My recommendation is to choose different activities each day and different type of restaurant to enjoy during your stay.

Rua Bróduei and Mucugê is an open air mall, restaurants and shops share space and come in all shapes and styles.
Details in each look, colors, culture, picanha on the plate, seafood pan, cocoa, souvenirs. Variety for all tastes.
The most expensive and sophisticated restaurants are on Rua Mucuge.

Very nice and cozy street with a lot of restaurants and shops. More variation in type of restaurants would be nice. But if u want to visit the Porto Seguro area this is the place to stay.

Mucuge street is the main way in Arraial d’Ajuda. You will find all sorts of bars and restaurants, nice shops with plenty of options. You can be by yourself, as a couple, with friends or with your family and you will enjoy!

This is the face of Brazil. As an Brazillian I think this is an mess of an place to go. In carnival don’t come here if you are looking for peace. If you are single come here, this is the place to be. Visiting with family go to the side shops who are quiet and have playgrounds they are very nice. As an alcohoolic go to the alcoohol booths and asks for Capeta. You will literally see the devil

We went to Mucugê St. on the first day of our stay. It is a lively street, with plenty of stores, bars and restaurants. We will certainly be back before the trip is over.

Beautiful place with wonderful restaurants like La Portinha, clean, decorated, organized and safe city, live music at night, makes everything very romantic ,very different from Porto Seguro which is dirty and abandoned by the city.
The mucuge beach is also very beautiful with very blue waters.

The street runs about 1 mile end to end. It is shut down at night to accomadate the foot traffic, vendors and artists. The little alley ways on either side are great to explore. You find treasured little barzinhos (small bars), restaurants and shops. There is a pizza place that has been there since the last time we visited. The Best Pizza I have had in Brazil.

Very safe area. No nonsense. Cobblestone streets. It's like a small but cooler version of Key West, Florida with a great charm.

Arraial is an upscale area on the peninsula, prices are mid-range. Cost us about $40US for 7 Draft beers and 4 apps. A short ferry ride with or without car from Porto Seguro, but a long walk for the port by foot. Taxi and or Uber if you do not bring a car.
