Fun. Lots of nice little local stores with artesian goods. Good coffee place. At 6:00pm the church has live choir singing Ave Maria. The sound is amazing.

Charming historic centre of Arraial d’Ajuda. Small square surrounded with tourist shops and restaurants and at the far end the church. One visit will do though, since variety of shops and restaurants is very limited, almost all selling the same kind of stuff and food.

Interesting coloured buildings leading to the church. Quite lively at night with local people coming together to eat and drink. Also live music nearby.

Thé largo in front of the church is a very nice place for a drink. The atmosphère is less touristic than mucuge street.
