It’s a nice coral reefs beach, where you have natural barrier against the force of the ocean. In the morning we got a very low tide, so we walk all the way in, to the reefs and just sat and relaxed.
The beach is more crowded then others with a lot of “ambulantes” selling food, souvenirs, services all time. You do have more options of places to stay and eat. We stayed at the La Plage, which has a calmer atmosphere, great lounging and light music.
But if you want to be where the "party" is, this is your beach.

Nice beach with lots of options to sit and have a caipirinha, coconut water, snacks and lunch. Place where you can listen to good music and be well served.

Crowded, a lot of “ambulantes” asking you for food, souvenirs, services all time. Stay away, there’s a lot of places better than Mucugê on this region

Unless your objective for the day extends no further than to walk down to the beach from Arraial d'Ajuda down and flop down on the first available patch of sand, I see little to recommend this place.
The beach is fringed at the shoreline with unappealing flotsam and jetsam or required navigating rocky and/or moss covered pools to get to the water.
The hub of the beach is a cramped collection of barracas pumping out average food, drink and music.
Bahia has so so many better beach experiences to offer.....starting with a walk down to Pitanga beach.

My husband and I spent our vacations this year in Porto Seguro, so we decided to visit Arraial D'Ajuda, a little town 5 minutes boat ride away from Porto Seguro. It's a beautiful spot with good food, reasonable prices, and beautiful beaches. We just had time to visit Mucuge beach, but we really enjoyed our time there. We're definetely coming back.

This is a nice beach but because it is the easiest to access from downtown Arraial, it is also the one with most people. If you are looking for a more quiet still pretty beach try Pitinga :)

A little more popular than other beaches but you can eat and drink a lot of local specialties at reasonable prices and the restaurant offers the parking.

Hola, una pregunta, como yo estare en porto seguro, solo un dia, queremos ir a conocer Arraial....Como llego hasta las balsas q salen diaramente, y cual playa es mas tranquila q Mucuge, pero q quede cerca del centro para poder recorrerlo? gracias por el aporte

Depende que lejos estes pero podes tomar combis o colectivos para ir a la balsa y cuando bajas en arraial lo mismo para llegar al centro. Te comento que la balsa se abona solo a la ida a la vuelta te subis sin abonar. Con respecto a las playas vas a la iglesia que esta en el centro y atras de la misma hay unas escaleras que te llevan al ecoparque y a unas cuantas playas mas muy lindas. Espero que te sirva mi aporte.

Gostaria de saber como funciona as barraca de praia da região... Se pra ficar nas mesas é aluguel ou consumação mínima? se o valor é viável, se aceitam levar bebidas como água, suco, refri? Uma refeição para 4 pessoas custa em média de quanto?
Qual o melhor ponto pra passar o dia de forma tranquila e sossegada..
Os locais acostumam aceitar cartão ou só dinheiro?
Alguém recomenda alguma barraca? E locais pra estacionar?

Ok. Vamos por partes. Onde eu fiquei não foi cobrado consumação mínima ( fui na baixa temporada). O valor do prato varia, mas a média é 80 para duas pessoas . Aceitou cartão . Para sentar na mesa dos quiosques , eu não sei se é permitido levar bebidas ..... Alguns quiosques possuem estacionamento que pode ser cobrado. O ponto mais tranquilo é andar em direção à praia do Parracho onde tem menos movimento entre uma praia e outra. Se gosta de barraca com DJ , tem uma logo no final da rua Mucugê a direita ( esqueci no nome ) q é muito boa . Espero ter ajudado .

Pessoal, para quem é mochileiro como eu e prefere ir andando do que esperar busao, quais dicas e quais praias na sequencia da pra ir na caminhada a partir da balsa? Ate pitinga/lagoa azul, mto puxado??? E quais passeios mais afastados recomendam por agencia ???

A maioria dos passeios que fiz não foi por agência, lá quando vc desce da balsa em Arraial d'ajuda tem várias vans que vc pode pegar e ir para o seu destino, Mucugê por exemplo vc paga R$5,00 pra ir de van, Trancoso que é bem mais longe você vai pagar R$15,00. E o melhor ainda é que todo momento tem ônibus, então você não corre o risco de ficar esperando no ponto e perder seu passeio, pois para ir às praias mais bonitas, na caminhada você vai andar muito.

En el aeropuerto de Porto Seguro cuando arribas y antes de ir a Arraial puedes cambiar o bien en el mismo Arraial en distintos comercios aceptan dolares. También hay casa de cambio en la calle Procuradores que es una calle principal que termina en la plaza detras de la iglesia del pueblito.

Para ir a la playa espejo te conviene un tour y tene cuidado en los paradores tenes consumision minima
Ir en micro no conviene pormque te deja a 4 km y hay que hacerlo caminando Imaginate bajo el sol como llegas
Es muy linda playa pero asesorate cuanto cobran los paradores

Arraial é sem dúvida mais tranquilo(e mais caro também)mas a maioria de suas praias abertas(existem lugares privativos que só os clientes do hotel têm acesso)são feias e cheias de algas,matos trazidos pelo mar.Não sei se foi a época que fui,mas não gostei.Porto seguro é muito mais estruturado e possui praias calmas como coroa vermelha e cabrália.

Hola, nosotros nos alojamos en La Torre Resort, que está en la playa Mutá, que es muy buena. Esta y Coroa Vermelha, que está a 2 km, y después Baramares, que tiene una barraca grande, valen la pena. Del centro para el norte tenes un muy lindo litoral. En cuanto al alojamiento, nuestra experiencia en La Torre Resort fue excelente. En cuanto a Arraial es muy pintoresco y otra cosa. Todo depende lo que busquen para su estadía. Cuando estoy con dudas, siempre veo las opiniones de los viajeros de los hoteles y eso me da otro punto de vista. De todas maneras van a pasar 15 días hermosos. Éxitos!!
