Walked 30 minutes from arraial d’Ajuda and we loved the view! Sunny day and several restaurants to stop by during the walk. The beach is beautiful!

Pitinga is about a 15-20 minute walk south from Praia Mucuge and well worth it. It's less crowded and prettier, as the Bahia cliffs are striking. A few places to get your cerveja bem gelada too.

Beautiful beach. Can’t miss walking to the end and seeing the lagoons. Warm water and fine sand. Must go.

We walked to this beach from Mucugê and loved the scenery. This beach is less crowded than the others in the region, thus becoming one of our favorites. Water was pretty cold, though.

Walked a good 2 miles+ from Praia dos Pescadores to here. This was by far the nicest beach I found, really more by a process of elimination than preference. The other beaches were either fringed at the shoreline with unappealing flotsam and jetsam or required...More
