I was very impressed by how scheduling and meeting before the trip went. Marisol at the kiosk knew her stuff and helped us with a food allergy. The day of the trip it was very easy to locate the tour group on holbox beach. I felt safe in my life jacket and was eager to see whale sharks! Diego gave us instructions and everyone felt at ease! Captain Carlos manned that boat Don Malnado like a pro and was on the radio locating our sharks! The first jump in from boat was bubbles and then the most spectacular view! Diego our guide was with us the entire experience! While in the water I felt breathless and had to reach out to another human to realize I’m not dreaming! Cabo Catoche and fresh homemade ceviche and a Mexican coca hit the spot after jumping in twice in whale sanctuary and then boating away from there to snorkel on our own. We journeyed back toward holbox and spotted manta rays, dolphins, and birds! This was my first time snorkeling! I took swimming lessons in 2018 and learning how to swim changed my life and led to unbelievable experiences like this one! Diego was kind to help my cousin experience this she’s not a strong swimmer and he eased her fear and held her hand every time! Thanks again to Diego and Captain Carlos and the staff at Willy’s for creating these one of kind experiences!!!

My group of friends chose Isla Holbox mainly due to the fact we could see whale sharks. However after doing this tour we were left very frustrated. We didn’t see any whale sharks but after speaking with other tour groups who were out with us on the same day, we were the only group who didn’t see them. Our captain gave up searching and when told there were sightings of the sharks, didn’t turn around. After the tour we went to the office of Willys and were told too bad. I would recommend booking with another tour group who actually cares about showing you the whale sharks, not just sticking to their agenda

We took our daughter for her birthday weekend to Holbox. It was our 1st time in this kind of experience. When we got to the port we were greeted immediately by the diver Diego. They were very organized and we left the port on time. Diego was great at communicating to our group. On our way there we encounter a Mata Ray (Stunning) !. It took approximately 2 hours to find the Whale Sharks. By the time we arrived there many boats. Diego took our daughter safely close to the whale, and everyone in group dove twice. We left and found a 2nd whale, Diego took all of us diving again. As we left Cabo Catchoche we also saw turtles and dolphins. Thank you Diego and captain for a beautiful experience. For your professionalism. We felt safe, and for teaching us to LOVE the oceans even more!!!!. I recommend Willy's. Amazing experience we won't ever forget.

For our first time in Holbox, we had no idea where to start. We knew we wanted to swim with the whale sharks, so we turned to online reviews and found Willy's. I'm so glad we did. Marisol, Captain Tomas, and Diego made our experience wonderful! Marisol checked us in and we were off to the boat. We left the pier promptly at 6:50am which surprised us because it seems like everywhere else we travel is on "island time" and we expected the same. Willy's was on-time adventure! We were the first to leave the pier and the race was on to find the whale sharks. On the way out, we saw some sea turtles and manta rays! While we were not the first to the whale shark feeding grounds, we were not far behind. When we arrived, there were whale sharks everywhere and other boats racing in to see them as well! Captain Tomas pulled us up to the first shark as our guide, Diego was pairing us up and getting ready to jump in with us 2 at time. The experience was awesome! There were 5 pairs of swimmers on our boat (10 of us) and we all got to jump 3 times to swim with these magnificent beasts. After a couple hours, we headed to Cabo Catoche for some beach time and rest. The crew served us ceviche, guacamole, and chips while we bought a couple of margaritas from the little bar there. With full bellies, we made our way back to the boat for the final ride back to Isla Holbox, but not before stopping to watch the bottlenose dolphins play for a few minutes. Overall it was a great time and I would highly recommend Willy's!
