We decided to take a day trip from playa delay carmen to isla holbox. We drove and found plenty of parking at Chiquila- 100 pesos for 24 hours or 50 pesos for 12 hours- and then jumped on a 9 hermanos ferry to holbox. Once...More

We walked to Punta Cocos on our own. Our friendly hotel receptionist described the way and the beach is easy to find. Don‘t forget a good moskito repellent or you‘ll be eaten alive!!

My family and I biked to this beach as a storm was starting. It was amazing to watch. There is a great restaurant near the beach that makes the best drinks and shrimp ceviche ever!!

The middle of where the inlet meets the ocean is divine. Crystal clear aqua water with flamingoes on the horizon!

A short cart ride west will get you to a quiet, shallow playground with a nice beach, dock, and hammocks over the water. Beautiful place! Bring bug repellent as the mosquitos can be a bit much.

We rented a golf cart and stumbled upon this beach whilst driving around. It is a stunning spot to swim, have a cocktail and watch the sun go down - definitely worth the 15 minute drive to get there. The hammocks over the water are...More

The have a beach bar, and hamacs for tourist to relax and take pictures. This is one of the attractions at this island, so you would see more people than other beaches in the island. Take a taxi golf cart or rent one. I wouldn't...More

Nice beach where you can walk into the sea for 500 ft and still don't get your swimming suit wet. Very calm waters and beautiful colors. The downside comes after 5 PM when mosquitos start to bother. Not too many shadows to cover from the...More

Most people seem to go by bike or golf cart/taxi, and they are rightfully so. The distance is only about 2km- basically nothing, but you will pass through paddles(especially after a rain), and trails of mosquito hot spots. Once you get there, it’s much calmer...More

Come sunset time , everyone flocks to this point with the amazing unobstructed view of the red golden sun dipping into the ocean. Spectacular.
