Since I never read the books, I really didn't know much about this museum before arriving. The friend I was traveling with was much more familiar with the stories. The stories were fiction, so the museum really wasn't a museum, in my opinion.

My wife and I recently visited this museum. It's still in the Campbell family that L.M. Montgomery was in and the inspiration for her Lake Of Shining Waters. There is a lot to see and you can select the option of Matthew's carriage ride. If...More

I would say half a day is plenty enough. Make sure to visit the book store. The lady running the book store gave a beautiful little explanation about the life of the author, etc. We really enjoyed that. :)
