We stumbled upon this place and had a great time. The patio is beautiful, with a ton of flowers. We did a wine tasting and the owner was incredible. We learned a lot about their wine and got to taste them all! All wines were...More
When you first drive up you're struck by how much they've done with the patio. It's absolutely beautiful and I will be going back one day to have wine on the patio. They have great pours and our server Jon was friendly and helpful.
We returned here after a year and had the same exceptional experience. Their wines are a little pricier but that's to be expected with a small batch winery. We really enjoyed their reds and will be back if in the area again.

Thanks Jason for the kind review.
We look forward to your return!
Had a great stop yesterday at Giants Head Winery. Beautiful little spot and we lucked out on the weather and sat in the courtyard waiting for the tiny tasting room to thin out a bit. Invited another group of six to join us and the...More
We drove around for a while to find this winery as it had good reviews. We were barely at the front door of the wine shop before the lady (owner?) immediately looked at us and asked if we are going to buy her wine. We...More

Sorry to hear you won't be returning. The reason we have tasting fees is we need to have a sustainable model for our tasting room. Our wines are excellent and award winning. We also only make 1,000 cases, and unlike other wineries with...More
Stopped in here on a drive through the wineries of the area. This winery had been recommended to us while we were at another tasting, so glad they mentioned it. My husband and I both typically drink reds but were pleasantly surprised with the 2016...More

How nice of you to say. We love our Gew this year. Honestly the best in 10 years. I think it compares well with any Gewurztraminer from the valley. Too bad we only have 125 cases. I don't know who helped you, Mary...More
The owners of this winery must have a big head to name themselves Giant Head.
Ahem…I said they must have…a…big…never mind.
In truth, the winery is named after Giant’s Head Mountain, where the winery is located. They must’ve gotten here first as Giant’s Head is...More

Thanks for your review, Prince.
Just to clarify, we grow four varieties here at Giant Head Estate Winery: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Gewurztraminer and Riesling. We make 7 styles of wine: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Gewurztraminer, Rose, a bordeaux blend we call "RED", a Sparkling Blanc de...More
