Our Bushy Park Ultimate Driving Experiences offer you a chance to see, hear and feel what it's like to push a racing car or kart to the limit. Prepare to abandon any preconceived ideas of when a driver should be breaking for a corner or how fast that corner can be taken. Let our professionals get you on the start line and you will have one of the most exhilarating and memorable experiences of your life. Bushy Park Barbados is the premier motorsport's facility in the Caribbean. We are FIA certified and host to International racing events including Top Gear Festival, Global Rallycross, Race of Champions and Barbados Festival of Speed. Our Bushy Park Driving Experiences 1.) The Karting Experience utilizes Birel high performance Karts with 270cc 4 stroke engine and adjustable seat which are capable of up to 50mph. Karts are designed to meet worldwide 'arrive and drive' safety regulations, with front, side and rear crash protection. 2.) The Suzuki Swift Driving Experience utilizes Suzuki Swift Cup cars which are race prepared and come equipped with safety cage, bucket seats, 6 point harnesses, limited slip differential, adjustable dampers, an up-rated braking system, and a manual 6 speed gearbox 3.) The Radical SR3 Driving Experience utilizes Suzuki powered Radicals SR3s which are hand built in the UK by Radical Sportscars. They are 220 horsepower and the 1340cc four-cyclinder engine revs to a blistering 10,500 rpm and drives through a six speed sequential paddle-shift gearbox. Our professional racing drivers and instructors promise you one of the most exhilarating and memorable experiences of your lifetime. We also offer customized packages for special functions. -- Minimum height for go-karts - 5ft -- Radical and Swift Driving Experiences require drivers to be 18 or over and hold a valid driving licence or Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) racing licence. -- Enclosed shoes are required -- Safety gear will be provided -- For karting drivers under 18 require a parent or guardian signature prior to on track activity -- Bookings are required

I went to Bushy Park with my boyfriend to celebrate his bday on 6.27. I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews because management there was so professional. I set up an appointment for 2 go karting sessions and 1 radical ride experience. We were the only tourists there. Go karting was so much fun, it seemed longer than it actually was. Safety is at the utmost concern and I couldn't feel safer. My bf did the radical ride. He's 6'1 a lil over 200 lbs and he enjoyed the experience immensely. His only qualm was due to it being a small car he was very hot. He would recommend to others but just keep that in mind. I'd highly recommend Bushy Park and have already to a few people I know heading to Barbados.

Wow what a brilliant event. 7 of us had the track to ourselves to do two grand prix sessions. The checking in process was easy, safety briefing in depth and the fitting of the helmets and neck cushions detailed. Then to the track.
As a karting novice I had no idea how much fun could be had with a 9bhp engine hurtling around a well designed track with fast straights and hair pin bends with your posterior centimetres from the track surface!! 40 minutes of hurtling around with the feeling akin to a shirt in a washing machine in the spin cycle, in 30c blue sky sunshine was brilliant. Watching the video taken afterwards we all looked quite pedestrian but in the kart I can assure you the feeling is quite quite different. Do it again? Oh yes, but once parts of the shaken body have had time to recover! :-)

Took my 13 year old to Bushy. Everyone was fantastic. The carts are in great shape and very safe. Staff 2 as awesome!

While visiting another plantation house nearby we heard racing engines and went off to investigate. We were surprised to find a beautiful race track in a fairly remote area! At the time, drivers were training on Radicals but one driver we spoke to told us they have local and inter-island championships here. You'd need to research what events were on if you wanted to see any races. We just wandered in, had a look around, chatted to a few people and left again.

I went last week with my cousin and her husband. We had the track all to ourselves. We had booked 3 ten minute sessions and were able to take a bit of a break inbetween each session.
I think two sessions would have been enough for me as it took a bit more muscle than I thought to make it round the turns. I liked that we got a printout of our times so we were able to compare/compete with each other and ourselves.
Had a TOTAL BLAST and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Just got back from Barbados and I had to leave a review to say how much fun this was. The staff were all so helpful and nice, karts were in great condition and you really could get some speed up around this great outdoor track! Would highly recommend this as an activity for any adrenaline junkies looking to get the heart pumping.

I did the radical drive experience... and what an experience it was. Stunning car, great track, professional staff from the receptionist right through to the driver/instructor.

We did 20mins racing 2x 10 mins it was enough. Great fun, karts good condition, track hard enough to make the racing fun. Might be an option to upgrade to a better kart. Will go again, all staff great on the day,

Hi There, the Go Karts can reach up to 40-50 mph on the straights. The opening times are Tuesday-Sunday 9-5pm :-)
