We first visited Cob Records on our honeymoon in 1978 and were thrilled to see it is still in Portmadog and basically the same. Came away with a couple of gems from the huge selection on offer.

It may be dingy but there are countless records in there. I can see why people can spend hours in here. They have a nice selection of used DVDS in the back and everything is properly labeled and organized. Staff kept to themselves.

Re visited this famous shop after a gap of 45 years. Nothing has changed. Good (but not great) selection of vinyl. Prices ranged from OK to outrageous but still worth a visit.

Spent a few hours in here and many more pounds! adding to my CD collection. Yes i'm old fashioned and no I don't download. I like having the CD's. They provided a mail service so I will probably be spending some more £'s with them....More

I went here with my Hubby on Tuesday morning. It is right opposite the Ffestiniog Railway Station by The Cob. Once you get over the initial musty smell, it is like an Aladdins cave of old Vinyl records, cassette tapes, CDs and even DVDs.

...by browsing through their huge collection of all the music you grew up with. After being hit by waves of nostalgia, there's a good chance your wallet will get hit as well. But you'll come out smiling.

Sadly, I only had time for a quick browse before catching a train on the Ffestiniog Railway. Well worth it though. The shop oozes atmosphere and the process of just sifting through what's available is fascinating. I used the Bangor store much more than the...More

Large selection of CD's, DVD's, records and some collectables. DVD's could have been arranged in genre rather than alphabetically. Took us ages to find something. Shop could do with a tidy
