About
The Highland Titles Nature Reserve is a uniquely funded conservation project. We sell souvenir plots of Scottish land to people all over the world and use the profits to manage the land as a nature reserve. Thousands of our customers visit the nature reserve each year to witness the progress made possible with their support. Improvements include walking trails, a 3-acre lochan, tree planting, benches along the way for quiet enjoyment of the surroundings and signage explaining the natural habitat. If requested in advance we will try to arrange for a local guide to help you find your plot, and if required, to get around the Reserve. Our vehicle is not always available and we cannot guarantee that a driver will be able to take you. Refreshments and lodging are available in a number of nearby communities.

We visited last week during our vacation to Scotland. A few years ago we'd bought our plots of land, mainly to contribute to the conservation work. We hadn't planned on getting to visit in person. So glad we did. We requested a guided tour a couple of months in advance (make sure you book way in advance). Fiona and Michael gave a great tour and are very knowledgeable. Beautiful land and awesome work being done there. Wish we'd had more time to explore on our own during our days in the area. Highly recommend.

Got a plot of land for my partner as a fun way to support the Scottish wild cats and Scottish nature. We didn't really have any expectations about the tour, but we were honestly blown away. Our tour guide was a young lady and she really knows what she is talking about. She knew the answers to all of our (many) questions. You can really see that this is her passion. We learned a lot about Scottish nature. For example, now we will forever know that rhododendron is a weed and a serious problem in Scotland. Also we now know that some American pine tree (forgot the name) is planted a lot in Scottish nature as it is used for toilet paper. As the tree is not native, it isn't good at all for the severely struggling native flora and fauna (so gotta use recycled toilet paper, people). The passioned way in which our tour guide informed about what they are doing on the reserve is truly inspiring. The work that they do is amazing and very much needed. My partner said that this was the best gift he ever received.

We visited the nature reserve in the morning, an hour and a half earlier than we had booked. Fiona was super accommodating and took us on a tour of the reserve. I had bought this as a present for my fiancé two years ago, and I think today I enjoyed it even more than he did. Fiona was really knowledgeable and engaging and took us on a tour through all the work they are doing and how they support wildlife and conservation. Despite the terrible grey and rainy weather we had a wonderful time and were delighted to hear everything about the hedgehog forever home and replanting of trees. Would definitely love to come back at some point and see all the improvements.
Thank you so much Fiona! See you in London:)

Apart from the obvious conservation aspects and the fun of "land ownership", I really didn't have many expectations of the hour long buggy ride to see our plot.
In the event, our meet and greet guide Heather was clearly very passionate about the conservation side of things and eager to answer our questions about the flora and fauna (although in truth we didn't see any fauna).
Heather took us around the reserve, all the while pointing out things of interest such as the enclosures, habitats, conservation efforts and even took us to feed the trout in the lake. After the guided tour we were able to explore the reserve on foot and follow the sound of water to a beautiful little waterfall.
All in all, this is a gem of nature to explore in the Highlands, even if you're not visiting as a "Lord or Lady".

I visit my land today with some relatives and it has been an amazing experience.
We have been taking care of by Heather as soon as we got there, the tour and the explanation were ideal. We felt the passion for what they are doing and learning that they are only four to manage this little piece of heaven is really impressive.
We have found a little spot near a waterfall to lay back and enjoy our lunch.
Thank you very much to the entire Team of Highland Titles for their work 🤗

We had a wonderful visit to our plot of land today. I love to see the good work they are doing and the genuine care they have for conservation. They really do an excellent job at keeping an eye on endangered species and planting native. The whole team of volunteers were very kind and attentive. Stewart led us on a tour and kindly allowed for me to committ my father's ashes in a lovely place, and he offered to plant a tree sapling in memory. Can't recommend enough!

Such an amazing experience! I brought my Fiancé some land a couple of years ago and planned to go to Scotland mainly to visit his land. The package I got him came with a free Tour of the area and finding the land. This gave an amazing insight to what Highland Titles do. We had an amazing tour guide called Andrew, he was incredibly friendly and told us all the amazing work that the nature reserve is doing! It was great to see that your money isn't going to waste. We had such an amazing time we brought a joint package for our parents too.
I’d highly recommend this for a great present to someone not only for the title but for the amazing work they are doing for the environment!

Amazing beauty, our guide was very helpful and passionate about the conservation work being done at the reserve, better experience than I imagined it would be.
If you have a plot and/or are a lover of nature and the beautiful Scottish ecosystem I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Will be returning as often as possible.

Great experience with Highland Titles. Definitely more than just a bit of fun whilst becoming a "Lord" - this is a genuine conservation project aiming to positively impact and preserve a beautiful part of Scotland.
The meet and greet experience is brilliant way to spend an hour and Stewart is a great, passionate host who fully explained the project and ongoing / future plans.
I was really inspired by the obvious investment into the land which will future proof the estate for generations to come.
No hesitation in recommending this.

From the moment we arrived in the humble car park and reception facility we felt welcome and at home. Heather and family conduct highly informative ‘meet and greet’ tours, taking in your ‘highland estate’ and the surrounding reservation.
In addition to guiding us to my plot of land, Heather gave a fascinating run down of their conservation work, the hedgehog rescue and rehabilitation facility, tales of the resident Scottish wildcat, the elusive red squirrels, the small but growing family of grebes and the world record beating bug hotel. Nearly all of this conducted from the comfort of an all-terrain golf cart.
For a complementary service we were impressed by how much time Heather was able to give us.
If you are able to make it to the reservation, it’s well worth the trip to visit your ‘estate’. If you are not a landowner the whole area is open to the public for walking.
(Note: getting to the exact location of your plot might require a scramble over uneven ground or up some steep slippery inclines, so if you are not so steady on your feet you might be better staying with the cart)

Grazie mille
Hi. I've been trying to contact Highland Titles with regard to a purchase I'd like to make in honor of a family member. I've tried calling numerous times without any success in reaching someone. I've also filled out a support form (ticket ID # 2837). I'm now looking to travel advisor as a means of getting in touch with someone because it seems you answer these comments. Without getting into too much detail I'm hoping to purchase a commemorative plot for baby girl named Autumn. How do I get someone to contact me? This is really important to me and my research showed you were the company to go with. Please advise. Thanks very much.

Hi there and sorry to hear you've had problems contacting us. I've looked at the ticket and it was replied to 2 days later... slow for us, but like most companies we are running with fewer staff during the pandemic.
The reply also gave an email.
I'm not sure what number you have been calling but you could try here at the Reserve (TripAdvisor stuff comes here) 01631 740333 (but we are out on the hills sometimes) or Support on 01631294974
The original Ticket closed after a period of no contact but I have re-opened it too so take your pick of contact options :)
Sorry again

Thank you for your reply. It might interest you to know that I have a string of correspondence with Highland Titles and they informed me that thousands of Irish people go by the title of Lord yet they could not give me one example. Peter with who I have recent correspondence with offered me a full refund. He has not sent the refund. They never informed me that all the title was to hang a certificate on my wall. I purchased two plots in good faith in the knowledge that I could legally change my name by depole to Lord. Your facts are totally wrong.

Hi, sorry to hear you are unhappy with your purchase. Rather than a comment on TripAdvisor Q&A it would be better emailing our support team and then somebody will see your comments and be able to act upon them. I'll post a screen grab of this on to Customer Services and I'm sure they will sort it out asap. That's why we have such high Trust Pilot ratings.

It is not true that I can add the title of Lord to my name in Ireland. I got legal advise. I requested a refund for the two plots I purchased. Peter said I could have a full refund. I never received a refund. I am getting no replies to my emails. I feel cheated.
Has anybody else have the same experience. If so what did they do to get a refund?

First of all, the whole program is to support the nature reserve, not to give you the legal title of “Lord”. You receive a nice certificate that you can frame and hang in your home or office.
My family and I visited the reserve on our last trip to Scotland in August 2018. We were given a tour of the facility and had a pleasant and educational walk through the reserve with Stuart.
This is a wonderful program, run by honest people who care about the conservation of the land and animals.

Could someone please tell if a bus goes near, or if there are tours to the nature reserve, and
how to contact someone who will show us our plot.
Thank you.

All the answers are on the Highland Titles website but Trip advisor will not let me put in the links!!! That is silly and irritating. The page you want is called Nature Reserves - Glencoe Wood | Highland Titles Search on Google for highland titles visit glencoe
Buses stop at Duror, Dalnatrat Road End, which is 100 metres from the entrance to the Nature Reserve (walk North) You need the Stagecoach bus website plan a journey (plan-a-journey)

Hi there, no cafe yet I'm afraid but we do have a kettle in our cabin ;)
It's on the wish list, but first we need to improve our main entrance and signage, then maybe a wee shop & tea room but we are probably looking for the start of the main season 2017.
I love Eaglesham, lovely little village with a great Chinese Restaurant... or at least it was when I stayed in Waterfoot around 20 years ago!!

visit and then an 'at sign' then highlandtitles and then a dot and a com - tripAdvisor doesn't allow web links :) is the correct email to book it. A plot number is always handy too, but book well in advance as they are very busy in the summer.

Bonjour,
je voudrais devenir propriétaire d'un plots de 100m2 environ;
