Tarbert is one of the most beautiful places I have been to, went here as a child and now returned as an adult, truly spectacular place.

I popped in here to get a local map to put all the technological navigational equipment into context (can't beat a paper map!!)
The staff were VERY helpful and loaded me up with lots of information and definitely enhanced our visit by mentioning at least 2 places to visit that we would have missed.
Thank you ladies! Great job!
(Ps go to Crinan to see the scenery and the old Vic 32 and Normandy Puffers on the canal, and also have a walk to see the ancient cups and rings in the stone at Achnabreac).

Extremely helpful with planning visits and accessing ferries to the islands. Good local knowledge across a wide range of activities.

Very average, small pontoons, and expensive. Shore facilities poor for £30 a night, also confusing where you pay and get advice. Could be a lot better for a top attraction, THA need to get their act together.

This is my second visit to Tarbert. I love this place. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere everywhere you go. A visit to Stonefield Castle is worthwhile particularly for the home baked scones. The seafood here is magnificent with all the restaurants serving locally sourced Queen and King scallops, haddock and salmon. This is one of my favourite places in Scotland

The sales lady was very pleasant and helpful. The shop is well stocked with maps, leaflets, cards and appropriate items for sale. The centre is open in winter too, not closed like so many.
