About
Skirlington Market & Car Boot was founded in 1986. Today, the busy and thriving attraction is still enjoyed by thousands of visitors every Sunday. The Indoor Market has been fully refurbished in 2019 with a new cafe, farmshop, brand new stalls & a licence bar: so you can visit Skirlington whatever the weather. The outdoor market also has a fantastic range of traders, rides and inflatables for the kids and an excellent range of food outlets. You can even get a delicious Sunday Lunch. The Car Boot site is adjacent to the market; just a short walk past our pond. Here you can attend as a seller (simply arrive between 6-9am, there's no need to book a place) or browse for a bargain. There are toilets at both areas and we have disabled facilities. We also host special events throughout the year. The finale to the year being our Christmas Event which is held the first Sunday in December. Skirlington is a great day out on the East Yorkshire Coast for all the family. We hope you can join us.

Pre Christmas visit nice weather but very few stall holders and even less bargains after chatting to lovely cheese man he was saying some haven’t been there since half term and not coming to Christmas market next week.
I know it’s awkward because they want people to go but surely something to tell people some of the bigger stalls are not there from half term till Easter would save people wasting their time travelling please update web site

We went on a Wednesday just as a FYI and unsure if the same applies on other days.
There was not a lot on when we were there, a few car boot stalls and a few market stalls. There was a cafe that was open and we decided to have breakfast there and it was nice

Don’t bother with the Wednesday market it’s rubbish
Combined with car boot sale there are very few market stalls along with the indoor bit that’s half closed.
Car boot stalls charging a lot of money for stuff especially second hand clothes
Save yourself the time and go to the Sunday one instead.
I traveled from Scarborough as the website advertises the Wednesday market but in all honesty it was a waste of time and fuel.

Great market to visit if your around the area. Lots of different stalls from food, clothes, Knick knacks, books and even tarot card readings. Most items reasonably priced. Good inflatable slides for the kids. Would definitely return

Visited the cow shed cafe at 1015 hrs on Sunday 24-4-22. We Ordered 2 x breakfasts. 3 families came in way after us. We waited a FULL hour. The 3 x families all received their food. We did NOT. We spoke to the bloke behind the bar and asked where our breakfasts were. When we told him we had been waiting an hour, he turned round and looked at the click and said "well its not been an hour has it" in a disrespectful and condescending way. When we pointed out, it was 5 mins short of an hour, he muttered something under his breath. He went into the rear kitchen where a conversation took place between staff. They then all muttered something between them including "these tickets should go here, anf they should go there". The bloke came back out, NO APOLOGY, NO EXPLANATION NO NOTHING. we requested our money back. The bloke was obnoxious, ignorant and did Not seem bothered one bit that we had been waiting an hour!!! My advice, AVOID!!!! and go elsewhere....

Lots to see and do on a Sunday not too far from Hornsea easy to find in the car. Massive market and car boot which you have to pay to get in i believe it was 30p to enter. Lots of stalls to buy from and plenty of food stalls if you fancy a snack. Free parking which is always a bonus.

Enjoyed spending a couple of hours here, we arrived around 11.30am though and people were packing up and leaving already even though it was on till 3.
Kids were hoping for a few rides but none, would defo make it a bit better.
Normal car boot sale, lots of tats but some great wee finds as well!
Would hate to be in the inside bit if it was busy as its quite narrow but everyone was wearing masks.
You do have to pay when u get in, buts its only like 30p or something.
