Tours appear to be on the hour, (visited on a Thursday) and cost 7 euro. We were the only people waiting so got a personalised tour. It's all in Spanish but we got the gist. Very pretty, good views and lovely to see the layers...More

Many Castilian castles in the area and each of them extraordinary in some way. Fortunalely in this case, austerity has been the way. Terrific landscape fron the castle. It's worth visiting even if it's only for its external surroundings.

The castle is pretty well reserved. The gate is impressive. The door has lots of sharp nails, hard to conquer.

A well know painter bought the place in the '20s and restored it for modern living. There's a museum with some of his work and the guide was great at explaining with great detail.
