Have never been able to work this out, converted sheds that were once a farm. Food of no consistancy. Ok for private functions I suppose

Real culture and is an amazing opportunity to step back into nostalgic historical memories. The whole experience was a step into the real past and one will remember this visit for a very long time. Don't miss this one.

Its difficult to find cultural experiences amongst all the tourist stuff, at least on the west of the island, but we found this place and went to a jazz concert there - cost 8 Euros and about 15 musicians on stage (all amateur but great). Home-cooked food was served buffet style in the garden (5 Euros). The bar was first-class. The audience was a good friendly mix of ex-pats, visitors and locals. Wonderful atmosphere. One of our nicest experiences in Mallorca. It is located in Andratx, not in nearby Port d'Andratx, and is reachable by car from Palma in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately the association is going through a crisis at present, but if it survives its well worth visiting for a quite different experience from the tourist norm.

Sa Taronja is a gem of a place, although difficult to find at first. There are new signs up now which help. Tina, who runs the place is full of enthusiasm for the arts, which is the central theme of the place. The Sunday Jazz lunches are legendary, with good food and wines.

We regularly visit Sa Taronja when in the area, it has a unique ambiance, nestling amongst lemon trees. This cultural centre provides local musicians and artists a place to work and perform and the delighful Limon y Celo restaurant with excellent cuisine provides a perfect location to listen to the music. Closed during winter months. The host Tina working hard to keep this location going.
