Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Optional Boat & Belver Castle

258 reviews
Palma de Mallorca offers many sights, but viewing them all can be a challenge. Avoid the rush of a typical tour and relax on board a sightseeing bus that passes the city’s beaches, markets, and major monuments, including the Grand Cathedral and the Bellver Castle. Follow your own itinerary at a pace that suits you, hopping off or on as you like, or upgrade for an additional boat cruise or included entry to Bellver Castle.

Cala Mitjana is a small cute bay with crystal Clear water. You have to walk a couple of minutes and there are not many possibilities to park your car. But that is maybe a good thing , because there weren’t many people. On the day we went there were a dj in the small house next to the beach. I guess he doesn’t live there, so that was just a one time thing. But not sure abt that. But what I am definitely sure abt is that you have to bring yourself some drinks and food. There is nothing really around. We tried to walk to the next bay to a restaurant but turned really quick around. And if you‘re a fan of instgram worthy pictures than that is the place to go. But if your annoyed of those people , maybe take a trip to another bay. You also can drive to the bay with a boat boat.

After about 8 km of beautiful mountain road in the direction of Cala de Torta - well signposted - we arrived at a split. We went left and left again, a descent towards Cala Estreta and Mitjana. The road gets very uneven, bumpy. We parked at a wide area under the trees. Further on, the road is open and there is parking space. We walked a sometimes easy, some times difficult path to the watch tower. It seems luringly close, but we had to pass a number of bays and gullies. The views are magnificent, in late afternoon. There is a network of small paths. Not much opportunity to bath, not like Torta. You can climb the impressive, not vey high tower. Very good views, in the distance to Formentor.

Great waves - lovely to watch. Great for surfers. Bit of an undertow but lifeguards on duty. €15 to rent sunbeds and umbrella set. Beach restaurant with nice view. Apartments on western side do not really infringe on the lovely beach - they are not too high.
