We have made a inquiry for a Canoeing-trip and a 'Jeep tour and wine-tasting trip' with Nature4. We received a quick response from Cláudia and a few suggestions for reservations. When we arrived a few weeks later, my wife and I were the only 2 persons for those activities, but that was no problem at all. The waterlevel in the Vez was low, but it was a great relaxing canoeing trip, with a professional guide, Filipe. In the end, we were offered snacks and drinks for free. In the afternoon, we went for the Jeep-tour with Cláudia (who speaks english and french) and the wine-tasting + tapas in Ponte da Barca. This Jeep-trip was a bit adventurous and also fun, the wine-tasting was relaxing. In the end, if you are looking for an extreme adrenaline-rush: the canoeing and the Jeep-trip were more family-friendly/relaxing trips. But we liked it this way!

2 hours of adventure and nature discovery of the many water courses in Arcos de Valdevez. Clean river that allows even to swim. We all enjoy this activity. Our guide, Joana, was very helpful.

Rio vez is a Clean River that comes from the Spanish Border, in which many activities take place in its waters, kayaking is one of them. In the 2 hour trip I had fun with my friends exploring its features. the instructor close at hand is always following and explaining how to do it all. In the tour package the wet suit and all the gear is included.

My wife and I had a guided canoe excursion down the river Vez with Paulo. The atmosphere once we arrived at the meeting point, Nature4 shop, was relaxed yet professional as we were given helmets and life jackets. The paddling starts just across the road in the River Vez. The trip down the river lasts a couple of hours and is both pleasant and calm. There are opportunities to swim. The route is not demanding and will suit all levels indeed there are even a couple of small drops! At the end you are meet by a 4x4 to return you back to the shop. Fantastic morning! A couple of handy points. It's best to use a pair of old trainers or water shoes as you may need to get out of the canoe depending on water level. Flip flops are not the best choice. You are able to leave a fresh change of clothes with the shop and they will bring them down to you at the end. We did get wet - so wear swimmers to be sure and take fresh clothes and towel. Cost for the trip was 25 euro per person. Thanks to everyone at Nature4.
