My two boys and I have just returned to Virginia from a FANTASTIC trip to Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre and Rome (April 2024) coordinated by Chiara /Asolando. Chiara made sure our Italian spring break adventure was tailored to our interests.
Every aspect of our trip was on point! Our accommodations were fantastic and perfectly located. Our transportation was seamless - expertly mapped out and communicated. Each of our private tours were with extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic English-speaking guides. Her planning and communication made our trip to Italy both amazing and care-free!
We enjoyed every day of our visit, but the highlights for us would be the mask workshop while in Venice, making pasta in Florence, touring the gorgeous villages of Cinque Terre and visiting the museums of the Vatican.
I would HIGHLY recommend Chiara and Asolando for anyone considering a family trip to Italy!

Chaira from Asolando was absolutely the best travel agent I have ever had for my travels. I traveled with (5) people on a customized trip that included Venice, Florence, a quick stop in Pienza, a few days in Tuscany in a Villa in Monticiello and back to Venice.
The trip included tours in Venice, Florence and the Villa. The first night in the Villa, a wonderful Chef Danielie cooked a 4 course meal for us when we arrived that was absolutely delicious . The next day we did a cooking class that was right around the corner from our villa with the same chef, another wonderful experience. The next day a wine tour - which ended up being more of a delicious lunch with wine pairing. The tour included a beautiful tour of the hills of Tuscany and a short stop in Montelcino.(I do not suggest the vintage Volkswagen)
Chaira took care of all our hotel bookings, the train tickets and private car transfers, and water taxis We ran into a snag when we were returning back to Venice due to the train being down, and Chiara found a solution and had private drivers take us all the way back to Venice. She met us in Venice in torrential rain to make sure our transfer back to the hotel went smoothly.
Chiara texted me every step of the way to make sure all our tours went smoothly throughout the entire vacation.
I must say Chiara went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and without any issues and was able to stay within our budget. I would definitely recommend her and consider using Asolondo again.

A friend and I had two days in the Venice area and wanted to focus on Prosecco, Venice and Murano. We worked with Chiara to outline our preferences and specifics to our logistics. She provided excellent feedback, comparably fair pricing and we learned and experienced everything we hoped for. All the guides and service providers were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend working with Chiara and will do so again if I am in the area.

We had an amazing full day Prosecco wine tour with Chiara. She worked with me to plan the perfect day for us, including multiple stops at vineyards, tours through cellars, and a spectacular lunch with a view of the Prosecco hills at an agriturismo. Chiara is extremely knowledgeable about the wines and area and taught us so much. They arrived early in Venice to pick us up in a very nice Mercedes van. It was a fantastic experience - I would recommend Chiara and Asolando tours to anyone and everyone looking to plan a special day (or a few).

We have just returned from an exceptional 6 day trip to Venice, Florence and Tuscany (July 2022) which was coordinated by Chiara Ballestrin of the small company Asolando - who we connected with through Zicasso. Amazing!
Our trip was tailored and supported by Chiara at Asolando. Everything from accommodation (beautiful and well located hotels), to travel and transfers in Italy, to restaurants and tours were smoothly coordinated.
Chiara was very responsive to our needs and a great communicator. She made sure that we were in good hands and that all of our connections happened seamlessly. We made a number of changes in mid vacation and Chiara helped with and coordinated these courteously.
Particular highlights were the Venetian Mask workshop while in Venice, the Fiat 500 self driving tour of the Tuscan hills outside Florence, and the visit to the historic hilltop town of Volterra to explore the home of the (Twilight) Volturi vampires!
Though not an inexpensive vacation, I would highly recommend Chiara and Asolando for a lovely and hassle free Italian holiday.

Asolando is the only agency I will use when creating a travel itinerary to italy. They are 5 star top notch travel professional that plan out every aspect of my trip to Rome, Florence and Venice . I have them my wish list and the dates desired and they created the perfect trip with transfer, detail direction to getting to your destination . I would highly recommend Asolando anyone wanting first class experience to Italy.
