Our first experience of ebikes was a great success, thanks to Elizabeth (and the amazing Tuscan countryside). We were well equipped and instructed and enjoyed a guided tour without the stress of all those hills. Elizabeth adapted the tour to our comfort and confidence and was a wealth of knowledge about the area. Highly recommended.

I went on a 5 day cycling trip to Toscane in September and rented a Pinarello Dogma F12 from Tuscany Bicycle. Usually I am quite critical, but must admit: everything was perfect! And this is why: Friendly and professional service from Elizabeth 1) During the booking process she was very helpful in giving me advise and was answering all the questions I had via email very rapidly 2) I booked the service "drop off and pick-up" and that was great: she was there right in time. This saved me quite some time, since I was staying near Siena. 3) Bike fitting: she offered me great help with the correct bike fitting The bike At home I ride on a Trek Madone SLR7, so I am used to a high end bike. This was the reason I also wanted a high end bike in Toscane, it just adds to the whole experience:-). The Dogma was absolutely phenomenal! Stiffness combined with great comfort! It was a great bike for climbing, descending, riding on gravel roads! So my general conclusion: absolutely 5 star experience and I will certainly return next year, thanks again Elizabeth!

Whether you are a very serious rider or haven’t been on a bike for years Tuscanybicycle have a huge selection of amazing bikes to suit everyone. We have visited Tuscany many times and I have to say seeing the countryside around Gaiole in Chianti on a bike was probably the nicest way we have seen it. Elizabeth set out a really fantastic route with incredible views and points to stop off mostly on the quiet tar roads but also with a taster of the famous white roads. Taking the e-bikes out meant we were able to cover 50km plus with some big climbs even with a group of 8 mostly non cyclists and still fit in a 2 hour lunch ! The bikes are really nice spec and in great condition. The batteries easily lasted all day even with one of the group having it on “turbo” the whole time. They also have some amazing non e-bikes. Next time we’re there I will be trying the Pinarello F12 dogma for sure !
