Great people, extremely helpful, they even delivered the Vespa, for a reasonable contribution, to our place at the other side of the city. Communication was extremely good with great advices. The Vespa, we got, was technically in a perfect shape, nearly new.
We toured around 370 km throughout Chianti und Florenz
Thanks, any time again

We hired a Vespa 125 for a day in Florence. The scooter was in good shape, the staff were charming and helpful and the process was very efficient. We had a great day visiting Fiesole, Bellosguardo and whizzing around Firenze. Thanks to Luca and team, looking forward to next trip!

We rented a 300cc Vespa to visit the Chianti region. We had a great trip! Everything went very smoothly, the scooter worked perfectly, and the price was fair. Would rent a scooter again. Thanks Luca!

Many thanks to Luca and his team who are friendly and knowledgeable.

My partner and I both hired vespas for the day to explore the Tuscan hills and had a wonderful time. The vespas were in excellent condition and perfect for our adventure to Michealangelo's Viewpoint, Veccie Terre di Montefilli - a vineyard in the Chianti hills - and the Teatro Romano, a Roman amphitheatre, baths and temple complex in Fiesole. Luca even helped us transfer our booking onto a different day when we were ill on the day of our original booking. The whole experience is one I'll remember and treasure.

I would recommend this company to anyone and look forward to repeating the experience if we're ever in Florence again.

Excellent service. Could give the scooter back the next day (24 hour rental). No problems with the scooter, worked just fine. Except for the map, which was just a piece of paper for the cost of 10€, we were very happy with the rental! Thank you!!

It’s a cute little hole in the wall. Charming from the first minute. They were so helpful and suggested the route for us in a few neighboring Tuscan towns. We were on our honeymoon in Switzerland and Italy and that day was the best day of the entire trip. They explained about driving regulations, gave us maps, and even told us they have a discount on traffic fines if we get any. The rental and return process was easy and pleasant. Even the experience of dealing with them was a taste of the beautiful Italian culture. A must if u are in Florence .

We were trying to rent a scooter from this place in our vacation in Florence. When making the reservation we've been charged for 20% of the rental cost. However, as we came to pick up the scooter the manager refused to give us one, saying they won't accept my driving license (which btw I had used in rentals in France, Spain, Portugal, as well as in Rome one day earlier, and even Europcar accepts it without any questions). My favorite part is that they refused to return the 20% pre-payment, although in their information letter their was nothing said about the license requirements. The manager Luca was very rude and impudent, he was saying that this situation is same as if I didn't show up or came without any driving license and that they are making me a favor that don't charge the full rental price.
I recommend you to NEVER use this "service" as this is really the worst attitude I've ever seen.

Ciao, this is Luca, the "rude owner". We are sorry you are not satisfied with our services, however, it is the Italian Law that says we cannot rent to people that have a drivers' license that is impossible to read. Your license was in CYRILLIC.... and I tried to explain to you, the fact that you used it in Portugal or other places does not entitle you to ask from us to go against the law because we will not do it. Yes, you had already booked (without showing your license), so we had duly charged you a 30% non-refundable deposit, and we kept the Vespa ready for you, but then we could not give it to you because you did not bring a valid license. In fact, we should have charged you for a no-show, which we did not do. Please note the contract that you received and of course you were ready to sign, says you are responsible for holding a valid license. I don't believe I was rude, but I also could not let you do what you want just because you want it, as the consequences could have fallen on us as a company. We all wish you good luck with other companies.

We rented scooters for two days while staying in Radda. We decided to try scooters instead of driving. We had never ridden scooters / motorcycles before and Luca (owner) strongly advised us to get a lesson before we came. Boy was that a good idea, but we are SO glad we had this experience.

The first day we had reserved Luca to be our tour guide, the second was on our own. Unfortunately the first day it rained but Luca still gave us an awesome tour in his car, and we dodged the showers enough to see a wonderful castle, eat an AMAZING lunch at a tiny restaurant called L'asinello and get some interesting history and insights on Italy that you wouldn't get from a guidebook. Luca speaks excellent English and was very interested and attentive the entire day - can't say enough about him if you want a tour.

Day two my wife and I decided to brave the roads on our own (beware for first timers, the roads are extremely hilly with hairpin turns). However we quickly gained confidence in our machines and started to enjoy the AMAZING countryside. Luca had given us good advice for some of the most scenic routes. Let me tell you it is better than the books and movies. I'm glad we didn't opt for bicycles - the terrain is strictly for avid cyclists in good to excellent shape.

All in all an amazing experience - maybe the highlight of our two weeks in Italy.

Tuscany Scooter rental provided a clean, well-serviced scooter for a rental in Florence.
The scooter was delivered to, and picked up from, our hotel. The representative who delivered the scooter was courteous, prompt, and provided helpful information about use of the scooter in Florence.
A couple of caveats: operating a scooter within Florence is not easy. Many one-way streets and restricted driving zones make it easy to get lost. Not to mention the endless pedestrians and somewhat crazy Italian drivers who pass you on both the left and right. So be prepared. I am sure operating the scooter around the countryside is far more pleasant.
Also, the Vespa models are quite heavy because of their metal frames. If you need the power of a 125cc model, expect the scooter to weigh around 225+ lbs, and lifting it up to park the scooter can be cumbersome. I would urge you to discuss the rental options with Luca (the owner) who is knowledgable and courteous.
This is a very good rental company and they really want you to have an enjoyable experience.

Our group of 13 friends spent a fantastic day riding through Tuscany on Vespas with Luca our guide. Luca arranged our transfer from our villa and this activity was one of the most memorable of our 6 week holiday.
