About
Le Miccine is a small boutique winery in the heart of the famous Chianti Classico region. We are two young passionate people that run the estate from the pruning in the winter to the harvesting of our grapes in autumn. Everything at Le Miccine is done by hand, and it is our pleasure to welcome you here for a winery tour and tasting (40 euros) or just a tasting (20 euros) in english, french, spanish or italian! We are not a commercial winery, so prepare yourself for an authentic experience where we will walk through the hilly vineyards as we explain our organic practices and then head into our small winery where you will be surprised by our simple and traditional equipment. Then you can fill your senses with the smell of our oak barrels where our wines rest for 1 to 3 years. At the end of this experience you get the chance to taste our wines and olive oil. We have white, rosé and red wines so something for everyone!

A wonderful experience not to miss! Great wine, lovely hosts, and beautiful property.
While we really enjoyed some of the castle wineries (Castello di Brolio, Castello di Verrazzano, and Badio Coltibuono), Le Miccine was hands down our very favorite experience and a refreshing change away from large groups of tourists. This is a small winery producing wonderful wines (our favorite on our entire trip!). Aside from being very handsome (!), Federico was a wonderful host and is passionate about wine making. We enjoyed the tour of the vineyards and winery and appreciated insight into everything it takes for a small operation to produce amazing wines. They also have a farmhouse you can rent that looked absolutely charming! I think it would be nice to stay here and drink Le Miccine wine every day! Make sure to reserve in advance since this is a more intimate tasting experience and they don't accommodate large crowds. A great location, beautiful property, exquisite wines, and Federico and Paula make it even more special!

    Worth a visit!
Small, quaint Vineyard. Our host was extraordinarily knowledgeable about wines and wine production. He was able to impart his extensive knowledge to us in a very enjoyable way. We found the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione to be an excellent wine.

    A very small unique tasting
Frederico was our host and guide, and was engaging and friendly. We booked a small group tour. It was "just enough" wine details, and a chance to see how a small winery operates. Then a very casual and fun tasting at the end of the tour. Very glad we booked this event. We enjoyed the wine, and the interaction with the other travelers.

    Great guide, great wines
Brilliant tour of a lovely, small local vineyard. It was just the two of us and our great guide Leonardo, which felt much more personal than bigger group tours. A great tasting of wines, grappa and olive oil followed. Would absolutely recommend booking if staying in the area.

Fantastic tour! The guide (Federico) was really enthusiastic and genuine, and we all learned a lot about wine making. We got to try an excellent rosato, and also three types of Chianti Classico. Federico described the wines in a way that made the tasting really interesting, and the wine is really amazing. We were a group of 12 and we all loved it (and bought a lot of wine). We all recommend this place if you want to enjoy a real genuine wine tasting in Toscana!

The winery offered one of the best wines we tasted in Chianti, fully made with local grapes and a big amount of love and authenticity from the owners. The place is amazing, the building is situated in the middle of a slope, surrounded by rows upon rows of grape plants. But the most important part was the two owners, that welcomed us with a smile on their face, explained everything, showed us the love they put in their work! We had an amazing time there, we laughed, we took pictures, we tasted excellent wine! Greetings from the Greek girl and the Spanish guy and our little drone!

We stopped her for a tasting on our way back to Florence and had the most wonderful experience. We did not have reservations but we’re immediately taken care of by the winemakers mother, Rita who was absolutely delightful. She took us through a tasting of their 5 wines, all were delicious, our favorite being the Malbec. Paula, the winemaker stopped in to chat with us several times and gave us great recommendations for lunch stops on our drive back. I couldn’t recommend this place and the experience enough!!

We visited as a group of seven and received a wonderful tour. The host was friendly and brilliant and gave so graciously of her time. The grounds and the surrounding landscape are incredible. The wines are the best of Chianti, each one more delicious than the last.

In the typical hills of Tuscany between the vineyards lays a small, pitoresque Villa & Winery: Le Miccine. It has a short drive until you reach the villa. The host & hostess did welcome us with a great enthusiasm and hospitality. In the villa you can sleep (we didn't do this), but also book (or spontaneous in our case) a tour around the winery & vineyards and a great wine tasting! The single best tour & tasting hosted by Federico in the whole Chianti area. He took plenty of time to show us around, explaining alot about wine and the property and also took time answering our many questions. The wine tasting was very good (even when you had to stay sober to drive) and showed us a great deal of their wine selection (we tasted both white & red wines and a bit of their olive oil). We loved the wines (thank you Paula!).

We're staying at Borgo San Felice for 3 days and we're looking for some local wineries to engage in wine tasting....we were fortunate to find Le Miccone and had a wonderful experience. It is a small family owned Winery that is operated by Paula and Fred. It was so good that we purchased 2 cases to be shipped home! High recommend!!

Fabulous visit to this vineyard for a tour and wine tasting. The vineyard is surrounded on all sides by absolutely stunning scenery that creates an ambiance of absolute tranquility.

But the whole experience was made even more amazing by the background stories of the owner and her team. I won’t spoil it for you but wow, such adventures they have had and stories to tell - all of which makes this a much better vineyard tour than you might expect.
