We were very kindly received at Le Miccine. The wine tour was very comprehensive, the whole process from grape to wine was told and shown. After the wine tour we enjoyed the wine tasting. The wines tasted delicious, it was clear that a lot of attention has been paid to making the perfect wines. During the tour and tasting there was the opportunity to ask questions and have a nice conversation, this made the contact personal and gave the feeling that time was really taken for the visitors. I would recommend the wine tasting to anyone!

Le Miccine was the best winery we have ever visited. It was such a refreshing change to have two young and welcoming people that were genuinely excited to have visitors provide a tour and tasting. They are so passionate about wine and it shows in the amazing wines we tasted. The winery is beautiful and we learned so much from Paula and Frederico. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

The winery offered one of the best wines we tasted in Chianti, fully made with local grapes and a big amount of love and authenticity from the owners. The place is amazing, the building is situated in the middle of a slope, surrounded by rows upon rows of grape plants. But the most important part was the two owners, that welcomed us with a smile on their face, explained everything, showed us the love they put in their work! We had an amazing time there, we laughed, we took pictures, we tasted excellent wine! Greetings from the Greek girl and the Spanish guy and our little drone!

We're staying at Borgo San Felice for 3 days and we're looking for some local wineries to engage in wine tasting....we were fortunate to find Le Miccone and had a wonderful experience. It is a small family owned Winery that is operated by Paula and Fred. It was so good that we purchased 2 cases to be shipped home! High recommend!!

We visited as a group of seven and received a wonderful tour. The host was friendly and brilliant and gave so graciously of her time. The grounds and the surrounding landscape are incredible. The wines are the best of Chianti, each one more delicious than the last.

In the typical hills of Tuscany between the vineyards lays a small, pitoresque Villa & Winery: Le Miccine. It has a short drive until you reach the villa. The host & hostess did welcome us with a great enthusiasm and hospitality. In the villa you can sleep (we didn't do this), but also book (or spontaneous in our case) a tour around the winery & vineyards and a great wine tasting! The single best tour & tasting hosted by Federico in the whole Chianti area. He took plenty of time to show us around, explaining alot about wine and the property and also took time answering our many questions. The wine tasting was very good (even when you had to stay sober to drive) and showed us a great deal of their wine selection (we tasted both white & red wines and a bit of their olive oil). We loved the wines (thank you Paula!).

We visited this vineyard in the summer of 2021. They were incredibly hospitable and really went out of their way to make our visit special. The wine tasted amazing and we learned a lot about the wine making process on their wine tour. To hear about Paula’s journey from Canada to Italy was very inspiring to say the least. We are already looking forward to visit again! Cheers, Natalie & Danique

The perfect Tuscan getaway. With Paula to guide us and a glass of her beautiful wine to inspire us, we had a lovely time at Le Miccine. Peaceful, welcoming and lovely, Le Miccine and the wines of Paula Papini Cook are the perfect setting for discovering Tuscany. Thank you, Paula. Mary & Douglas, Pont Neuf Wines

What an incredible find! The staff and owner are so friendly and speak a variety of languages from French, English, Spanish, Italian. Paula Cook who makes the wine is onsite so you can have a very informative tour which is very interesting and the wine is by far the best we tasted in the region. The accommodation is beautiful and quiet in the Tuscan hills and the gardens are beautiful to walk around. Italian cooking classes can also be organised in the accomodation. Definitely recommend a visit to taste some wine, learn more about how wine is made or stay a few nights in heaven.

It’s taken me a year to write this review so apologies.
I visited Le Miccine with my fiancé a few days before we got married in Tuscany, at the end of June 2017. We visited Gaiole in Chianti hoping to choose wine for the wedding reception dinner.
We found this vineyard on Tripadvisor and it is a bit off the beaten track... but well worth searching out. We didn’t book but were immediately welcomed and felt at ease. Sadly, we didn’t get to meet Paula as she was on holiday but we had the pleasure of meeting her very proud father and mother (who were holding the fort whist she was away) and the rest of the team too!
After visiting many vineyards in the area that day, this was one of the most relaxed (and fun) tastings.
We tried a bit of everything (and obviously bought some red to take back to the UK), but we were looking specifically for a white wine (not an easy find). We just loved the Bianco di Conce here. It was exactly what we were looking for, fresh, crisp and easy drinking, perfect for our big day… we wanted it! Sadly, there very few bottles available as this was made in small quantities and had been very popular, but after explaining our situation, we managed to snap up the remainder of the stock.
I can’t recommend this Le Miccine highly enough. We can't wait to come back.
Hope you like the photos and best wishes to your Dad who was just amazing!
