This was a lovely winery we visited one late evening for a tasting and tour. They have a nice garden and grounds, and small cute cellar. They have a nice collection of Chianti classicos, super toscanas, and reservas. The Chianti Classico was my least favourite and to be honest did not like very much, however I did enjoy the toscana... We stumbled upon the winery and boy was it a find. We did not have reservations, nor was there an active tour going on, but that did not stop us from getting a top notch presentation from Matteo, the third generation wine maker. The wine and olive oil were both delicious. We were happy to have discovered this wonderful vineyard.... More

Worth stopping to taste the wine and get the tour. Lovely property! Purchased several bottles along with extra virgin olive oil.

We emailed the winery a day advance to book the tour. You should call or email to make sure that they have time to guide you. We got a lot of information about wine making and walked around the places. After the tour we tasted the wines and olive oil they produce. And it was all for just two of... More

We went on several different tours on our honeymoon trip through chianti, and this was definitely the best tour. The guide went into great detail about every step of the process. This was the only tour where we actually visited the fields and saw grape vines up close and personal. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves... More

We had a wonderful experience at the Casa Sola which is a small family owned farm facility. Has a tour of vineyards, olive trees, farm, production and aging facilities and lastly to the tasting. Enjoyed their fine Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan and other wines along with bruschetta and meats. Delightful experience, Highly Recommended. ...

We visited this small family owned vineyard close to where we were staying in Chianti. When we arrived a tour was already in progress, however, after only a few moments we were greeted by Matteo, a third generation family member who offered to give us an individual tour. He walked us through the very labour intensive process (grapes and olives... More

Very personal and interactive tour. Matteo answered all our questions while showing us the Olives and vines. We tasted 3 wines plus one desert at the end with breads, cheese and meats with their olive oil. Nice to visit a mid sized vineyard

Planning for vacation in Tuscany we pre booked a tour and tasting at Fattoria Casa Salo, we could not have picked better. Maria gave us a very knowledgeable tour of the vineyard and the winery. After this we tasted the better wines of Tuscany and one off the best olive oils I have ever had. Spent some money on the... More
