There are numerous shops in Modica selling the local chocolate. We tried Bonajuto, which has a nice old world feel about it and where you can see the chocolate being made at the back. There are numerous varieties available and samples of each of them...More

2nd time there and the experience was as amazing as the first time. The canoli are absolutely delicious. Tried the ricotta, pistachio and hazelnut. Very friendly staff!

We read a few reviews about this place and wanted to give it a try . The cannoli were just scrumptious - tastiest I ever tried. If visiting this lovely town, don't give it a miss .

Definitely the best cannoli I had in Sicily (or anywhere, for that matter)! And there's some tough competition out there! So do yourself a favour and get the ricotta cannoli if you're in Modica, you won't regret it!

The shop is small and slightly away from the cluster of other shops on one of the main streets but it certainly is worth the extra steps. The proprietor makes the chocolate himself and the samples that I tasted had some different characteristics than other...More
