Amazing ruins. We visited in Autumn after a storm and the site was hauntingly beautiful. The site is framed by the sea and distant mountains. I would recommend taking the golf carts to conserve you energy for the viewing.

This site has ample free parking and the entry fee is only 6 Euros. Selinunte is the largest archeological site in Europe spanning about 750 acres but with only 10% accessible to the public. It was founded by Greeks from the Greek colony of Megara...More

We were lucky to be allowed access to the temple site which is farthest away, by coach which was followed by an uphill walk. This attraction is not "unsteady friendly". I would strongly suggest you find out how to access the temple sites before you...More

This is a must-see archeological site while touring Sicily. One temple has been re-built and is in a very good state of presevation. From this temple another can be viewed at a distance looking stunning perched on a hill above the azure sea.

Amazing archeological site that is little visited. We went today, particularly hot day and it would've been nice if we had brought water from the beginning so that we could've walked over to the other ruins but as it turned out we didn't have it....More

Another archeological site not to be missed..... It's an awesome site.... But I should say that how it's managed and organized must be improved. There were no informations about the site. There was an "app" but you have to pay to download it.

This is another site which is awesome and not to be missed. You can walk around it or sit on one of those little train-like trucks that cart you around. Standing in the acropolis takes your breath away.
