Catherine and Brian have lived in Martina Franca for so long that they seem to know everyone in town, and to know when to arrive at each great culinary experience. We watched that morning's milk arrive at the small dairy in a small tank truck, where it was placed in various vats, and then was wrestled by 5 strong men into the freshest mozzarella and burrata you've ever tasted. And at the greengrocer, they explained all of the mysterious fruits and vegetables and often their history and uses. Then there was the wine and cured meat tasting at a fine old salumeria. Ah, what tastes! Puglia is the often overlooked part of Italy from which come fantastic but unpretentious food and excellent wines.

We worked with Catherine at Pascarosa Tours to plan a 3 week tour through Puglia. With her guidance we were able to see and experience parts of Puglia that would be missed by most visitors. She was thorough in asking about how we like to travel and created an itinerary that allowed plenty of time to appreciate the people, created unique and unforgettable experiences, all while making sure we took time to enjoy the culture we were visiting. Catherine helped arrange our lodging based on our requests and we were delighted with her recommendations. Her itinerary gave us choices to be busy or go slow and and enjoy. It was the perfect for us. Catherine was also available if we had any last minute questions and we felt confident after reviewing the plans with her. Be sure to use Pascarosa Tours when you're planning your next trip to Puglia. You will end up in places and with people you'd have never seen. It was an amazing experience. The "cooking experience" in Conversano was one of the highlights of our trip...and would not be possible without Catherine. I love to plan my trips and enjoy the research, but I'm not sure I'll do it again. Working with Catherine was so easy and I look forward to working with her again.

Seeing Martina Franca through Catherine & Brian's eyes was a Delicious Delight! We started in the Market, meeting the vendors & tasting their wares. Watched cheese being made & tasted the freshness! The BEST was our Cooking Class with the chef & his Mom. Gnocchi, Polpette, Braciola, Pizza...just to name a few of the great foods we feasted on. Then off to see more sights and a stop for great pastries & gelato. Finished the day seeing how local Olive Oil is made and having a little taste. Thank you Catherine & Brian for a Magical Day...

This was one of the highlights of my 50th birthday celebrations. A group of 5 families of varying ages walked through the Orchards and Olive groves, were served the most delicious aperitivo al fresco of local produce before strolling back to the piazza for pizzas. It was very scenic, enjoyed by all and guided extremely well by Davide and Catherine. It was the second time we had done this and it was even better than the first time, so we'll no doubt be doing it again sometime. A most memorable evening was had by all our guests.

I brought my culinary tour to Martina Franca for a day with Catherine and Brian. I have been running programs in Italy since 1997, and know there is nothing like visiting a town with a local. We had a full day! it was market day and that was a great tour, learning about local produce. Then a cheese tasting and tour, fabulous pastry shop, a wonderful hands-on cooking class at a local restaurant and they even brought in their mom's! Then to a wonderful olive oil tasting at a family ollive oil mill which was state of the art. Thanks again!
