To get to the church we enjoyed walking down the street (stone path really) with Baroque palazzos and houses all the way The church is squeezed in a small plane. The front is amazing and the inside has famous statues, two gorgeous side chapels and lots of history. We loved it.

We were told all the churches were closed, but to our surprise they were not. This one is a beauty in the center of lovely Martina Franca. Lots of color and light and very ornate. Worth visiting

We arrived in front of it just on the begining the annual fest of patron saints (10.7.) and the procession was very big. It was cute when the people applauded when the statues of the one and another patron saint appeared :)

Make sure you read up on a fascinating history of Martina Franca before visiting. The church is tremendous with wonderful and majestic facade, which features an image of the Patron dividing his cloak with a beggar in Amiens.
