Ebike tours: the villages of Valle d'Itria and tasting of typical products

A tour that can be easily done with the use of our pedal assisted bikes that will allow everyone to appreciate the beauties of the Valle d’Itria and the historic centers of Cisternino and Locorotondo, counted among the most beautiful villages in Italy. An authentic experience for everyone in contact with the nature of Puglia. It starts from Martina Franca and through panoramic paved roads with little traffic you reach the Ciclovia of the Pugliese Aqueduct at the Ashram Bole Baba. After a few kilometers of unpaved road we head towards Cisternino, a brief stop in the historic center, after which we head towards Locorotondo along the cycle route. Stop at a farm with a wide tasting of typical products. Return to the Puglia ebike site. The real and unique Puglia starts here.

This is one of the most beautiful “white city” in the region. Starting by the “porta di San Stefano”, you will want to lose yourself in the maze of tiny streets in which each house is lovelier than the next one. Even in the hottest summer, the visit remains enjoyable as the tiny streets have lots of shades to get a rest from the sun. In the late afternoon or evening, you may want to have a drink or dinner on the “Piazza Maria Immacolata”, with an fantastic view on the old church.

This town is charming. We were staying but, I did worry about day tourists and what they did at midday when everything was closed for hours. We found a lunch spot in the newer part of town that was open and shared a bottle of wine and local food. There was an art exhibition on when we were there, that was something to do aside from the churches and eating! Atmosphere plus here! Seemed to close early for Italy, all done at 11pm!

Nice historical center in a lively town in Puglia. Parking is challenging when there is a fair it religious event going on. But it deserves a visit.
