This tiny museum, tucked away at the back of the Town Hall, contains some lovely pieces, namely the exquisite figures from the ancient cemetery and a seated black basalt figure from Egypt. Most items are labelled and everything is clearly displayed. Much as I enjoy...More

I have visited many museums in Greece, Italy and the world, but this Museum takes you back to over 7,000 years of history. It makes you wonder what is the truth about our ancestors.

This small museum on the western side of the Town Hall is well worth the entrance fee €2. It houses artefacts from early Cycladic to late Roman times. Most of the finds are from the prehistoric cemetery of Chalandriani and include objects of everyday life-...More

This small museum contains some quite remarkably well preserved Bronze Age artifacts. Well worth the €2 entry fee and 20 minutes of your time to see both the quality of craftsmanship for 4,500 years ago and to learn a little of the islands history.

There were several very very old machines, and many photos to enjoy. Be sure to check out the little car at the end.
