May need taxi to get there but recommended by locals. Clean. Waves can make swimming difficult. There was a snack bar on beach and taverna close by.

Visited the beach after seeing the Minoan palace. The day was quite windy and the sea was rough with breaking waves. It looked a very nice beach which I may revisit one calm day.

Hi, I don’t think the bus goes to the beach but the little train passed us one day but not sure if you can hop on/hop off. The beach was worth the trip-a lot quieter than Malia and the sandwiches at the little canteen cabin... More
