The man who runs this place was very helpful and friendly if your hiring quad bikes please use him. Whilst we was out one of the quads broke down and we could not get it started. We contacted him told him where we was and he picked up my mate to take him to get a new one with no hassle. Good prices and does not force you to buy things you don't need.

We hired a little Skoda from Cretamotor for 3 days then extended for a fourth day. We paid 40 Euros per day plus took out the extra 10 Euros per day insurance. The staff were friendly and explained everything clearly.
The little Skoda CityGo was great with good air con and no trouble around all the hair pin bends I took it round and the rough unpaved roads I didn't mean to drive along but my navigator directed me along.
Based in Malia, we traveled up into the Lasihiti Plateau, across to Plaka & Milatos, down to Ierapetra and Sidonia.
Fuel on Crete is expensive compared to the UK.

I chose ( Andreas ) @ Creta Motors due to there freindly and profesional attitude. Plus I shopped around but other hire companias were to expensive. There price includes fully coprehensive Insurance which generaly is the reason for such a vast vareation in the cost of hire. good selection of cars, scooters and quads. I will be back soon. I highly recomend them. Pre book If possible to ensure they have the vehicle you require specialy in high season.

We (two couples) rented two 450cc quad bikes for the day from the rental place on the edge of Malia main town. The guy at the desk, Nikolaos, was very approachable and spoke very good English (as well as Dutch!). The price was very good for the size of the quad bikes, so much so that we returned in the evening, not to return the bikes, but to pay for another day of rental! There is a €10 extra fee for day insurance, which was all explained very well. We didn’t feel for one minute that we were being ripped off or cheated in any way.
If you want to rent bikes, quad bikes or cars in Malia, definitely do it through Cretamotor!

I have been coming here a few times a year for the past 3 years now and I can honestly Linda is the real definition of exceeding the best customer service.
She is very good at catering for individual needs. She understands that each person has different needs and is amazing at accomplishing this.
When in need ring Linda! She will always go above and beyond to make sure every customer is happy and stress free in their journey. Not to mention her bikes are some of the best on the market to rent.
Her deals save you so much money compared to other retailers.
Make sure you pop in to have a look. I really recommend it.

Would thoroughly recommend this company after hearing some of the horror stories from the other companies...
Me & my girlfriend who are in our late 40’s rented a quad bike for 2 days to investigate other parts of the island & werent disappointed
They explained whole price for quad & the price for fully inclusive insurance which was very reasonable
Give us some excellent knowledge of places to go , where to get fuel etc
Returned the quad with no problem at all & would be 1st to rent off these again if I ever return to the area
Visited some lovely places ... hersionsos, stalis, sisi & milatos to name but a few all with the help of a good quad & Cretamotor

We stayed in Malia for 10 days. I booked peugeot 207 at the nearest office of Cretamotor. 2 days for 100 EUR including insurance (1 day is calculated from 09:00 to 20:00). The car was in great condition. The only thing you need to know,not all cars on the website are available, so you need to book them in prior.
