this is a great day out but hang onto the land rover as you clime the stone back roads. Out guide was Andreas he was great fun and explained the route well the lunch was good in a small taverna. feeding the semi wild goats, olive factory cheese prouduction sheep hearding, all added to a great day out well worth the money

First of all, a massive “THANK YOU” to our guide, Manos. When I say guide, what I mean is entertainment!
Manos was knowledgeable but more importantly he was funny, laid back and fantastic with our children. He was great to be around and made our day. We all laughed for most of the day.
I don’t really want to write too much about what we all got up to as it would spoil it for any of you who are considering going.
Whilst there is travelling; there are so many stops along the way which breaks up the whole day.
There were plenty of photo opportunities amongst the group and Go Crete uploaded all images Manos took within 24 hours at no extra charge.
The authentic Greek food we had at lunch that was included with the tour was amazing.
We asked all our children today what their best moment was about our holiday, they all said the Go Crete Safari.
Thanks again Manos for your hospitality.
We would definitely book this again and perhaps explore a new route next time….!

I took A four day trip with a girl friend of mine and it was Nothing short of amazing. Andreas was our tour guide but felt more like a lifetime friend. He was so kind and down to earth. He explained everything so well. You could tell he loved his job and also the island. He told us from the moment he picked us up he was going to make it the “Best Day Ever” and he did just that. This was a trip I’ll never forget. You won’t be disappointed with this Safari!

BEST TRIP EVER!!!
Andreas is the best guide, very polite and knows a lot about the island, he acts like a cool uncle!!
We drove from heronisoss and had 6 stops during the trip
The places we visited during trip were amazing, riding off-road gave a lot of adrenaline, the food included was amazing and so tasty, the mountains were breathtaking and everyone felt comfortable during the trip; we ate fruits from the tree, tried olive oils with some interesting flavors and had a great time! Totally recommend

We did an incredible trip on Tuesday, August the 31st, with an amazing guid, Andreas !! Mention spécial to his fabulous Paris-Dakar.
The trip was very fun with beautiful spaces to discover (beach, Matala, monaster…) and a good meal at a restaurant.
We recommend to everyone who are in Crete to do it !!

As the weather was a bit grim, I booked a jeep safari trip to Sarakina Gorge for me and my wife. We turned up totally unprepared in t-shirts, shorts and sliders and met the other day trippers who were wearing mountain boots, jeans and coats 😂. Our guides were Aria and Giorgios and we couldn't have asked for 2 better people. They were warm, friendly people who kept us safe and well informed throughout the day. I won't ruin the trip by telling all but it is a full day including a few stops including the gorge. When we return, we will definitely be booking another jeep safari for one of Go Crete Safaris other tours and hope that we get Aria and Giorgios again.

We booked the tour which includes a visit to Krista, the mountains, gorge and swimming in the bay. The whole day was excellent, and driver Alex was superb. His knowledge of the area etc was outstanding, and his driving made us feel safe, even on the tight, winding mountain roads. He picked us fruits and nuts from the trees on the way and give us herbs such as thyme, oregano etc to see and smell. The meal at the taverna half way thru the day was amazing. Can not recommend this trip enough, it was our favourite day of the holiday. Our kids of 8 & 10 loved it. We will do another trip next time we visit Crete.

Excellent tour to Sarakina Gorge with professional driver-guide Alex, who told and showed a lot of interesting things on the way. Views were stunning! Mornng walk in narrow streets of Kritsa, mountain's roads to gorge, tasty lunch in taverna on hillslope and swimming in crystal blue water of Voulisma. Thank you for all team, you made my day superb!

We were on holiday in Elounda with our nephew and niece, Elounda is lovely but there is not a lot for teenagers to do, so we decided to take a day trip with Safari Cretan Drive.
We collected at our hotel and shared the day with a lady and her daughter from Kiev, who were really nice and chatty.
The company offer three different excursions, but the only one that was available on the day we chose to go, was the Katharo Sarakina route.
This route takes you up and over the Mountains and then down to the sea on the other side of the island, a really fasinating day and our nephew and niece loved every minute.
Some of the scenery is stunning, some is quite upsetting as you go through a forested area that was deliberately (illegally) set alight over a year ago and has devistated the area.
Our guide was very a knowledgable and enthusiastic lady called Freddie, who explained everything and was great company with adults and children alike.
I have to say that the highlight for me was the lunch stop at Agia Paraskevi, we have never been lucky with ( lunch included tours) but this was truly brilliant.
I would recommend this tour to anyone.

We just loved this tour. Our guide Michael was amazing, picked us up right on time. Our fellow travelers pretty much sucked! So boring, didn't drink and never said a word but Michael did his best to engage everyone. Loved all the stops, the food, the canyon, the beach, the hippie beach. SUPER, just book it and enjoy. We do tours in Alaska and are very tour savy so don't hesitate. It's long but fun and wow! Crete is better then expected. Hate our all inclusive resort, loved the tour with Michael! Cheers, Prost! Come find us in Ketchikan!!!
