Not sure we would stop here but so glad we did. They gave a very informative history of lavender and the medical benefits it holds. The guide was excellent as was the staff!

Since I went to France specifically to photograph blooming lavender, a trip to the Lavender Museum was a must. The museum was laid out well and the English audio guide was very helpful. The introductory video did a great job of showing the history and...More

Small but informative museum - staff was friendly and spoke many languages. The history and process was very interesting. Great gift shop at the end!

... About "museums" that turn out to be largely retail spaces with a little corner dedicated to some posters. But my spouse really wanted to check it out. So I entered with low expectations. I should not have been so cold-hearted! Yes, they have a...More

Instead of first stop, our last stop during our lavender fields tour was the Lavender Museum. It was a welcome respite after spending half-a-day visiting four lavender fields. The lessons were interesting and made us appreciate more the people who plant lavender, the beautiful lavender...More

We found the museum to be fascinating, and it explained so much we never knew about the region and the importance of lavender to the economy and culture of southern France. The technology of lavender production was very interesting. Self-tour takes 30-60 min. and is...More

Interesting museum near L'isle Sur La Sorgue in Provence. It's worth the trip if you are in the area and have visited the "tourist "destinations. We have family in the area and often visit Provence so I'm not certain if it is as desirable for...More
