Wilderness not seen anywhere else in Denmark.

A wonderful place for finindstiller flowers and watching e.g. deer and many different birds. You will also find coastal towns, among others Klitmøller, also known as Cold Hawaii.

i have been there many times in the last 10 years and its one of the best in Denmark you need a car or be a good cyclist to get to the entrance points -my favourite is the north point -there is a free natural camping place with shelter water ,fire ,a toilet ,and millions of stars during the night... Thy national park is beautiful. You have it all. The Forrest, the big lake and the sea. So many options. Go to their website and see the variety of different things to do and see.

We did a five day hiking tour of around eighty five kilometers, of the Thy National Park arranged by the Tourist Thisted Bureau, with a different guide for each day, who were very informative as to the history and flora and fauna of the park. It was tough, but a great experience, which showed us the varied landscapes of this... More

We went there camping on the free camping spots in the park and we had a wonderful experience! We were lost in the nature and it was a great experience!

Inside the Thy NationalPark you can reach out and get danish history, real wildlife nature, small cost-fisher villages striving to survive to get us all a better world and better, sustainable fish to eat! The B&Bs are nice, the people forthcomming; it is besides an adventure, a wildlife experience, something of a fairy tale with small ferries, islands, DKs smallest... More

If you happen to be in this end of Denmark, this national park is beautiful. Its great for driving through and there is a small fishing village at the cost where you can get a great seafood platter for lunch.

The National Park is so vast, that you need a car and a couple of days to wander around. I started from south. Near Krik you can windsurf, or go the the North Sea coast and wonder around. There is a bird life conservation area south of Agger. North of Agger there are two lakes and a nice lighthouse in... More

Bad side is that the toilets were removed. Finally had found some on the map, but they were gone. Despite that, the fields are great, the forest is nice and you can walk for hours without passing anyone. The routes are clear and visibly indicated, so you could hardly get lost.

Nature when it is most awsome. The dunes with rare vegetation, the harsh wind, the landscape with hardly any hills, the forrests, all part of the breathtaking nature. If you then add the bedst windsurfing in European it is without any doubt a place to visit.
