Pissouri Bay Divers is the longest running Dive Centre in the Pissouri and Pissouri Bay areas, we are a 5* PADI Dive Centre with an impeccable track record and rated a very strong number 1 on TripAdvisor out of 18 activities. Here at Pissouri Bay Divers we pride ourselves in delivering the best possible diving in Cyprus, from basic introductory diving experience courses of Bubblemaker and Discover SCUBA Diving programmes, through all PADI courses up to professional Divemaster certifications. Owned and Run by Steve since March 2018, who retired from the British military in January 2017 following a full career, is a Master SCUBA Diver Trainer who has qualified as a PADI Elite Instructor during the 2019 season. Steve also received the PADI Certificate of Excellence during his first season of 2018 for Outstanding Service and Professionalism in PADI Instruction. As an expat living in Cyprus we get plenty of visitors from UK ! Especially frequent are our extended family most of whom have been regular summer visitors for at least 10 yrs and we were scratching our heads about how to keep the teenagers entertained. Then we discovered Pissouri Bay Divers. My wife was a little apprehensive about her nephews and nieces so as an experienced but very ex diver myself I was persuaded to accompany the family to reassure the young ones and sus out the standards of safety and instruction offered.
Wow is all I can say Steve and Dave were the epitome of calm, safety minded professionals who still managed to make it a massively fun event. Widely claimed to be the highlight of the holidays. A couple of them want to sign up for qualification courses this year

Well tailored shore dives

I travelled to Cyprus with my wife and two young boys, none of whom are divers. I wanted to experience Cyprus underwater, but needed to spend as little time away from them as possible, so opted out of the almost obligatory trip to the Zenobia. Pissouri Divers were able to offer me a morning with two shore dives with a dive guide. I stressed that I did not want to go out in a group and spend 35 minutes tearing round the place - I am underwater photographer and I was able to pootle about in the shallows loking at the pretty fishes and chunks of 2000 year old amphorae to my hearts content, with 62 and 58 minute dives. Not once did I feel rushed or under pressure to move on. I was impressed with Pissouri Divers setup and professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Next time in Cyprus I will certainly use them again, but this time to take me to the Zenobia! Thanks very much. :)

I'm really pleased you enjoyed the ancient Roman wreck remains, we love exploring that site. I'm an experienced diver with over 20 years around mostly Irish waters, the Med, Caribbean and South East Asia. Pissouri Bay Divers is a professional, well operated PADI centre and I couldn't recommend these guys more highly.
I had two dives on the Zenobia Wreck which was the highlight of my holiday and also one of my all-time best dive experiences. The dive equipment was new, everything was really well organised and Steve provided an excellent dive brief prior to both our dives which we executed with military precision. Everything felt safe and controlled, but not at the compromise of having a lough and enjoying one of the best wreck dives in the world!
To Steve, Dave and Big Joe, thank you for a great day and I look forward to getting back in the coming years!

A great morning of snorkeling

We went as a family of four with two children (aged 7 and 8) who had never been snorkeling before, but waned to try. I was a bit tentative as I thought it may not be my son's preferred activity, but the staff were really great. I had expected that I would have to manage my son's aversion to snorkeling, but Joe was really helpful and took care of my son, all I could hear when I looked back at them was the sound of my son laughing, so I knew that he was safe and good hand.

Tara was great with my daughter, teaching her how to dive and guiding us to the areas where the snorkeling was best.

We had a great 2 hours snorkeling and the staff were really helpful. I thoroughly recommend that if you're in the Pissouri Bay area, you pop in and visit the team

Outstanding instruction and customer service!

I only started diving at the beginning of this year and I have been doing it with PBD. Steve and his team have been extremely welcoming, helpful and professional at all times and it’s been a real pleasure going though my dive journey with them.

Obviously I don’t have any form of comparison with other outfits, however this isn’t the first adventure activity I’ve tried my hand at; the quality of instruction, provision of e-learning and equipment on loan is all really good and makes the overall experience much more rewarding. It’s obvious that Steve is working really hard during a difficult season. He is still customer focused rather than profit focused and offers some great deals on dicing packages.

Whether you’re here in holiday on living out in Cyprus I really recommend scuba diving as something to try and this is definitely the company that you want to do it with.

Great instructors and amazing dives!

I’ve completed a number of dives whilst on holiday in Cyprus and would thoroughly recommend Pissouri Bay Divers!

Steve and the team are fantastic at leading dives. My dives this time weren’t part of a course, but both Steve and Joe were able to push me to improve my diving. Joe, who will soon be qualifying as a Divemaster, was enthusiastic and patient with my dives - which is great to see!

My final dives were on the Zenobia wreck. It was a mind blowing experience seeing the submerged boat still relatively in tact and teeming with sea life. Would recommend doing this as one of your dives!

Thanks again to the team as Pissouri Bay Divers - especially Steve and Joe! I’ll hopefully be back again soon!

Diving with Pissouri Bay Divers

I completed my open water divers course with Pissouri Bay Divers. Steve and his staff were awesome, excellent instruction and help when required. All the equipment required was provided with care taken to make sure it was all clean and serviceable for us to use. I enjoyed the course so much I ended up going straight into my advanced open water course with the same group. If you are considering trying out scuba diving for the first time or you have dived before and are looking for somewhere to continue your hobby, I could not recommend Pissouri Bay Divers more. A great place with great people!

PADI with Pissouri Bay Divers

I first came across Pissouri Bay Divers on my first visit to Pissouri in June 2019 while exploring the area. I always wanted to dive, so I spontaneously popped into the shop for information about PADI courses. I was welcomed by Steve (the owner). Straight away Steve engaged with me in a genuine conversation about me and my stay in Cyprus. I was surprised that Steve wasn't trying to sell me anything, we were just having a genuine conversation. I asked a number of questions about diving and diving courses and Steve happily answered all of my questions. I felt comfortable, welcomed and happy with all the great information Steve gave me not only about diving but also about the local area, so I decided to purchase a PADI course from him. I was only staying in Pissouri for a few days and I knew I will be coming back that year on a number of times, so I spread the course over the summer season.

Like every new skill, diving takes a while to get a grasp of and I can be a very slow (perhaps sometimes a challenging) learner but Steve was always very patient with me and didn't mind repeating the same information a number of times until I got it.

I was pleasantly surprised, Steve took me to a different location for every dive, so that way I also saw some great places in the nearby area and a great marine life too including the famous turtle that swam right up to us. I finished my course exploring the shipwreck Zenobia which was absolutely mindblowing. Hand on heart, one of the coolest things I have ever done.

I cannot thank you Steve enough for all your hard work, patience, showing me some great places and being such a great and genuine guy.

I will recommend Pissouri Bay Divers and Steve to anybody who is interested in diving and 5 starts given isn't enough to reflect how happy I was with the experience and the service I received.

Once again thank you and I hope to see you again when returning to Pissouri.

We completed the Open Water PADI course as a family (our three children under 12 & 13 yo) after doing the Discover Scuba dive experience. Steve and his team were consummate pro's and were fab with the kids and wife (who is very nervous in water). We went to some amazing dive locations for the confined water dives which was great; so much better than doing it in a swimming pool. We finished our open water in the Green Bay site which is beautiful. It was really hard work but Steve Dave Marguerita and Carina just made it so much fun we didn't notice. Now that we are qualified we've already booked our next dive with PBD; who are a top Dive school. I recommend for anyone who is anxious about diving- conquer your fears!

Patience, calm and encouragement

Although I can swim it has never been in the sea. My first time out I managed to get under the water but fear got the better of me. There were tears. I had a rest and tried again but once fear takes hold .... The girl with me was a little mermaid by the end of the day. I wasn’t made to feel as though I had failed and all the positives were pointed out so much so I booked another day. That was today. I swam under the sea. Hurrah. I still need more confidence but I can see a future where I will be swimming with turtles which is all down to the patience, calm and encouragement of a great tutor. I highly recommend Pissouri Bay Divers.
