We had a great time at the tea factory. The factory was closed but Sallay, our guide, explain all the details of the production so we could imagine what would be like. We had also the opportunity to taste all kinds of black tea. Thank you Sallay!

Of the various tea factories you can visit, this was the one we picked and we weren't disappointed, even though we visited later in the day when not too many of the machines are in operation. It was really interesting, we learned lots, enjoyed the tea tasting at the end and we're still enjoying the tea we bought.

Sunday was the only day I could visit the factory. I struggled for quite some time before signing up the tour as I was told it won't be operating and it's not worth going. I am glad I did sign up at last as the tour was highly informative and I learnt a lot about tea making and how tea was graded! Thanks Sallay for presenting all the tea making process in details with lots of patience. Since the factory was not operating on the day of my visit, instead of just verbally describing how the machines worked, he switched on all for a short while to give me an idea of how they worked. How great it would be if I could see the workers working on the tea in real actions. But it's not their fault as I chose to go on a Sunday. Bought quite a lot of tea (high quality with low cost!) from there and all my family and friends loved it! I wish I would have bought more! Thanks Sallay again for everything!

Sallay was our tour guide, he was knowledgeable and passionate about tea. Very interesting tour. The factory is a short tuk tuk ride outside of the centre and it was easy enough to get back.

I found myself with some extra time and decided to do this tour as an afterthought. I am SO happy i did! It was super interesting. The guide (Rajha) was SO informative! He answered every question and provided so much detail. It's great to learn where such a common, everyday product comes from and how it gets into our cups. As well as learning about the different types of tea and processes. It's well worth the hour or two to do the tour, see the factory, and try some tea at the source!
