🍃🍃This mountain range is a picturesque mountain located in the Ella area. It is an ideal environment for climbers .It is an environment of natural beauty. Also during the climb the area is covered with fog. You can experience this well when you come here.🕊🕊

Amazing hike with some of the best views imaginable of Ella. I highly recommend getting a guide, as the trail isn’t obvious or straightforward and the hike starts on some railroad tracks, so it’s good to have a local who knows the train schedule. The whole hike takes about 2 - 3 hours. I made the mistake of not respecting the elevation and needed to take a longer rest than normal from exertion. The second half is fairly vertical and requires some decent work. We started around 8am and it’s wasn’t too hot. The sunrise views require getting started about 5am. If you’re not keen on the sunrise then a 7am start should afford a more comfortable hike experience. The main peak has a water vendor and amazing views, but be sure to walk along the ridge for a second vista. There are very cute trail dogs who will do the hike along with you, too.

We set out to hike to the top of Ella Rock by ourselves, but we quickly realized, that was a mistake. Many locals had told us that it was pretty easy, but there is no clear path. We were told that it was due to a lack of tourists during the pandemic.

A guy offered to be our guide and ww took him up on it. We are very glad we did as it just made everything easier and we could just focus on the hike. We hiked to the top without breaks but it was challenging and sweaty - you also have to be aware that you will have to deal with leeches. Try to prevent the worst by wearing proper shoes and long socks and just keep an eye out for the suckers. Our guide was very helpful with removing them as well.

The view from the top is breathtaking. There are actually two viewpoints five minutes apart. One is the "official" where it seems like they are building a camp site but we actually preferred the other one which about five minutes to the right of the Ella Rock viewpoint.

The hike down was on a lot of rocks, which was a lot faster and easier, but watch out as it is slippery.

This is must do thing if you are in Ella during Corona time! We spent more than an hour on the top and we were the only people there. I can compare with 2016 - when there were so many people that taking photo was not easy task. So, don't miss this opportunity!!!

A semi-challenging walk that is worth ever sweat broken. The panoramic view whilst you stand out alone overlooking the whole world is mind blowing. We have done all the big ones and we really rate this one.

Nice hike and super view from the top. It is an adventuring journey. it is a must to do. On route you get small village shops which you can eat tasty hoppers and rotty.

This is a grate place to see Panasonic view of Ella area. Bit tiring to climbing up. But once you up, you would satisfy with the sceneries.
If you visiting from Ella, 4 to 5 hours require, but you can travel a part in train from Ella to Kithalella. Avoid rain. No entry fee yet. Try to visit early in the morning.

One of the best viewpoint in Sri Lanka. It is higher than the little Adams peak. It somewhat hard to reach to the top. So it better to avoid rainy days
