The falls are by them self really nice. There are a lot of people swimming in it (local and turists) and if you are looking for a nice swim you will like it. I expected it to be very natural like others we've seen all around Sri Lanka. There are a lot of locals trying to sell you things and... More

in July season with low risk where you can have a very cold bath in the waterfall. nice place to visit. however, people have polluted the beauty of the location with plastic and glass bottles.

Beaitiful place. more than its beauty. The great King Ravana in the Inian story Ramayana has had one of his castles somewhere close to this area thousands of years ago. This whole area of ella has some kind of attraction that makes me dont want to leave that place. Such a beautiful place. No wonder King Ravana picked ella to... More

We stopped on this waterfall on our way from Ella to Yala. One of the waterfalls in SL where you can go for a swim. It was quite refreshing. Must visit if you are in the area.

The water fall is simply amazing. You can be a typical traveller who stands afar to click pictures or be like a local & enjoy a cool shower in the water falls. The view is scenic & even on a hot afternoon weather seems somewhat cool.

This is right next to the main road so there are so many tourists. SO MANY. There isn't much water in the dry season. During the rainy season, you can see the waterfall at its best. Be careful tho, It's slippery and dangerous. I still don't know what's the deal with people trying to sell stones. Oh and watch your... More

There was a lot of people, locals and some tourist, after lunch. Because is next to the road is more an attraction than a place to take a bath and relax. There are some sites where you can take a bath, as I said, very crowdy. In our case if you climb a little to avoid people a guard from... More

It's a nice waterfall to stop on the way and you could even have a bath if you wanted to. There are many sales men trying to sell stones and coins etc. though which is a bit of a hassle.
