This is one of my two Alma Mater, an outstanding and excellent educational learning unviersity. I spent my college years here from 1983-1987 taking Bachelor in Business Administration major in Accounting & Finance under the Excellent Teaching of Mrs. Lina Cortez of CBA.

This huge green campus provided and exceptional backdrop to develop my mind, social, spirit and faith in my college years. My favorite handout place where the SU. Library and the Oriental Hall and the Amphitheater not to mention the Canteen at the Home Economics bldg. near the Nursing Dept.

I savor the big swimming pool and the long walks in its tree lined grounds and soccer fields.

The university campus is big and very green! It is nice to walk along its streets and grounds with the shade of those big old trees. The architecture of the buildings is also lovely.

I've seen a lot of different Universities in Luzon, but Siliman U in dumaguete is such a beautiful creation, from antique to modern style.
The area is so big! And take note cafeteria food is really good! My friend toured us around and it was such one of the best memories we had in Negros!

Due to Corona Virus, this attraction was not open to visitors during my visit. Then they told me I could go to the Cafeteria that is located near the Guards Station. Note that 2 nurses check your temperature as one passes the guards.

After lunch, one of the Security officers let me in. He even volunteered to take my pictures at various areas of this university.

Cafeteria: Foods are delicious and lots of selections. Service is fast and frindly

This is my 2nd time in Dumaguete, and when we visit visited the place we didn't get the chance to enter the premise. This time we wanted to visit the library and museum! The facade is very beautiful and the entire university is super clean. The students are also nice and friendly.

They said silliman university is one of the biggest library in Asia. Unfurtunately when we visited it, there was a program and the library is closed. The area within the university is very big. 1 hour of touring around is not enough. Just ride on a tricycle and tell the driver to drop you . Transportation fare is 20 pesos only. Bring an ID for you to enter the university.

Tiring but enjoyed the trip.
Ideal place to learn the local history of Negros Island, as well as the humble beginnings of this university 😊

I love the big trees inside the university. All greens wherever you look at that place. Securities are helpful and nice people. Also visited the Museum with anentrance Dee and was guided by student. Very relaxing and peaceful place. Old buildings and well kept.

Went to Silliman and hoped to inquire about college but then they were closed because it was Sunday. However, we just strolled the campus and took a picture in the opening because we weren't allowed to go inside. In the church and field part, they had this mass and we were allowed to go inside by an approachable security. Such a nice University. Hoped to be back in the future.
