Clean and peaceful

Just in front of rows of hotels and inns. There were street foods by night which I really enjoyed. The boulevard was clean and not too crowded

Great place to walk and enjoy the scenery, also many restaurants to choose from to eat lunch or dinner. We went to more expensive restaurants but we did not care out the food tastes and quality. So then we tried the whole in the wall types of eatery and we were surprised about the local favorite taste was so good... More

The boulevard is the recreational landmark of the city. Bustling with hotels, restaurants and cafés, it is also a favorite hang out from sunset to late evening. Perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise and sunset over the clear blue ocean.

Very clean and very nice. Especialy during sunrise. Had a beer at the restaurant just across the street and the view is just amazing. The sea is clean, there even fish swiming. Too bad my hotel isn't nearby, i could have snorkelled there.

Lively area to people watch from the many types and styles of restaurants, bars, and coffee houses. Better to walk than drive and parking can be hard to find.

We made a walk from the port to the end of the Boulevard. We love how the structure on the other side was built. A pre hispanic era theme for all establishment with a view of Siquijor Island and open sea. The boulevard is actually used for Fitness activity during Day Time and a Food Kiosk/avenue on Night.

This is what you would hope for with clean ocean waters, views of islands in the distance and a nice evening scene.

When we visited Dumaguete for 2 days in June 2016 it was very smoggy! The people were nice and we enjoyed one excellent restaurant... but the city in general is dirty and the air pollution is so bad it makes your eyes burn if you are from a small town like us. If you a big city person and use... More
