A landmark. A long stretch of bayside venue for inexpensive leisure and recreation. Good for sunrise and sunset views.

Lots of restaurants and hotels nearby. Walking distance to Silliman University. Good for some instagram-worthy pictures. Very close to downtown and the port.

If going to Riza boulevard, dont go during the day, cause its too hot. Go during the night its more worth your time :) There you can try the infamous balot and, my favorite, mangoes.

I live just a few blocks from the boulevard so I'm able to get some exercise by walking here sometimes up to a few times a day. If the locals use the boulevard than you know it's a great location to enjoy any part of the day.

Dgt City has the best waterfront I have seen in the Phils. Some of the trees suggest the city has invested in this for nearly a hundred years, and they just completed a major expansion of the water front and Rizal Blvd.

If you don't find your style in Dumaguete just go in a Virgin Island. Me I ride motorcycle from Cebu to Dumaguete and I stay 2 or 3 days... More
