Was surprised by quality, range and size of exhibits. For those looking for an insight into Kazak society and culture in particular the Atyrau region it is a good introduction.

This museum is complete with exhibits showing the history and culture of Western Kazakstan. It not only covers Atyrau but the surrounding areas. The museum is very educational.
